After much debate on where to have this farewell dinner we decided on Asian food but ruled out Japanese and ended up at Hanabi. The signage actually says Korean AND Japanese food but there doesn't seem to be a trace of Japanese in the menu and it's all written in English and Korean.
FOOD
Do - at the end of the fried chicken pieces with garlic and chilli ($28) and spicy squid and pork belly ($32) awaits a tasty tongue burning sensation. http://www.yelp.com.au/biz_photos/_TIft1ML6_-_7avemQL4_w?select=6yTy156Yk1Vm_kfINuWEhA http://www.yelp.com.au/biz_photos/_TIft1ML6_-_7avemQL4_w?select=Q9y4vPxWB4VHYi2bYF3fRg
Don't - eat the korean pancake ($15) after every other fully charged flavoursome dish as the pancake tastes like nothing
Maybe - try the big egg omelette with cheesey layers ($22) and see if it tastes like a maccas cheeseburger to you as it sure did to me! http://www.yelp.com.au/biz_photos/_TIft1ML6_-_7avemQL4_w?select=uRljvYhpJfFenKgzui4uFg
OVERALL
Not a bad Korean place. Would be keen to try the pot stews next time. Every other table seems to have ordered it.
One thing they could improve though is having numbers next to the pictures in their menu so you can tell what they are. read more
