Always expected by kids to take the same road. But I know others who had horrible experiences and/or choose to make poor decisions. Public school can be a gamble on shopping your Childs character. We started our daughter in Pre-school at KCA and have kept her into 2nd grade. It's been an amazing experience. The student body from Kindergarten into high school is so well behaved. KCA has created a solid God centered culture supported by great staff and teachers. We have only experienced the teachers up into 2nd grade but the staff just seems to get better and better. Our son is now in pre-school and we look forward to the coming years and the small classroom sizes.

This review is strictly for their facilities and campus, not education/curriculum. Home to the Red Raiders, Kauai High is a public school with tons of school pride. Students wear school shirts daily, with several different designs in an array of colors, personally I think it's super cool- and a way for faculty to keep track of students. Morning time can be confusing, as there's cones set up for student drop off. Park in a marked Visitor stall right up front. Check in at the front office and get a Visitor sticker so that staff know you've signed in. Visited their campus on a Wednesday and Friday, to do presentations to their HOSA classes. With bright red buildings and open spaces for students to hangout, I really enjoyed their campus.

Campus is right up Mailihuna Road on the left side. Parking for guests is right up against the school with marked stalls as such. Make sure you check in at the front office before heading to your destination. The lady at the window was SUPER kind and even offered to show me where the classroom I was looking for was! The campus is HUGEEE! With tons of colorful art and murals throughout. I also saw several art pieces along the school. It was cool to see staff members buzzing around on golf carts; with such a vast space it sure does help to have security and faculty on carts to get to the different places on campus quickly. I was lucky enough to hitch a ride from a security guard after my presentation back to the front office area. Booyah!

Olelo Christian Academy has been an amazing school for my daughter. We enrolled our daughter when…read morethe pandemic hit and have never looked back. She absolutely loves attending and enjoys her teachers. She comes home and shares what she is learning, which shows me her teachers are making school interesting and fun. Olelo has helped to create a great foundation for learning and I love that she is learning the Bible in all aspects of her studies. The children are polite and kind and she has made some sweet friendships at Olelo. I look forward to her continued growth at the school and am grateful for the teaching staff and administration. Olelo is a true blessing to our family!

They had it in the cafeteria, which is roomy to have a lot of families. Parking could be a little better but can do much about it.

One thing to note is that Waimea has a fantastic ocean view. It has a small country feel with a to die for location. One thing to note is that there is a stupid bird called the Shearwater. I mean, no offense to the bird but Waimea High School used to have their football games in the evening. Now they can't because some environmentalist said these birds would get confused or something laying their eggs due to the lights in the stadium. Really? How have they survived all these years then? Anyway- Waimea High School had to change their sports games to the afternoon which is hot and now the kids are all looking for something to do on Friday nights- and if they don't crime rises. This rule is ridiculous, school sucks as it is... could you make it a little more bearable. So far I did this school. They are also closing in on the achievement gap by using data and giving kids the support they need.

We met 45 fourth grade students, who were all marvelousl!! We were helping three fourth grader classes improve their bicycling skills, or learning to ride, all under a program the county! We also met their teachers, the school principal and administrators! Great people! Awesome school!!

The school is very diverse in its cultures and the principal is outstanding in his leadership skills. I would rate this a 5 star review with out hesitation.
