On Saturday morning, I tried it on, liked how it fit, took the tags off, and wore it to breakfast. While at breakfast, I stuck my hand in the pocket and discovered that the pocket, at the seam, was completely torn apart. My entire hand went through the pocket. Immediately after breakfast, I went to the store with the receipt, told the manager what happened, and was promptly denied an exchange, a return, or even a credit towards my next order. Although I'm 22, my mom was furious so she went in to the store and spoke with the two managers who were both working the registers. They simply repeated the return policy without giving any consideration to the circumstances. The one manager told her I could just sew up the hole in the pocket. I spent $50 for these pants. For $50, a consumer expects the clothes to be defect free. This is not a hole that could have been put in the pocket by anyone. It is the entire seam of the pocket. It looks as if either all the stitching that held the pocket together came apart or was never sewed. All I wanted was to exchange the pants for ones that were not defective. I was not looking for my money back. It is atrocious that they sell defective clothing in the first place. And it is even worse that they would not exchange said clothing when a defect was discovered. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

The quality of some of the shirts seems to be a level above the cheap shirts that some of the other stores on LBI are selling. Maybe that's why Chick's has been in business for so long. They had some good sale shirts on the rack outside the store. I got a cute tank-top on sale for $15. The woman employee who was working was super friendly and we had a nice chat with her. I wish I remembered her name. It's so important to have friendly employees when you own a business. If you want to sell things, people are more likely to buy from a store where they positively interact with a friendly employee. I'll definitely go back to Chick's the next time I'm in LBI. I recommend it. Check it out for all your t-shirt and sweatshirt needs!

I think…read morethis must be a seasonal store since it is not near the Silver Sun jewelry or the Silver Sun mall. This is a LBI t-shirt shop at it's finest. T-shirts range from $4-$10. Sweatshirts not more than $20. Dirt cheap LBI attire. Because of that, the sizing is definitely off so try items on. I am usually a small to maybe medium and I was just fitting into some of the XLs. They skimp on material and get the shirt to you at a lower cost I guess. Place was packed (it wasn't a good "beach day") and they had one person at the register and one girl just walking around putting items back on racks. Check out time for us was 12 minutes with a line behind us. But we got 2 fleeces and a t-shirt for $24. Other items of interest were beach bags, cute beachy signs for your wall, and bamboo wind chimes (I saw at least two people checking out with those). Clothing for men, women, and kids. Some was decent and others I have to say were butt ugly designs, but for that price, hey, why not? Returns are for exchange or store credit only. They do take credit cards.

A pet supply shop, freshly made fudge shop, a bookstore, a Christmas themed store, all sorts of beachy themed housewares and jewelry and comfortable hygge style clothing. Since New Jersey the kind of state where you really should make sure you keep a handy collapsible shopping bag in your prayers in case you shop. There were some lovely foldable shopping bags and I bought a bunch of them because not only do I wanna keep them in my prayers but I wanted to gift some of these as well. They were very adorable. They had cat themed and nature themed and I really like the nature themed ones. It was an enjoyable shopping village. Nice to get steps here. And then take a walk over to the beach for some photos. There are also some very unique places to grab a bite to eat or get a coffee. They layout of the place is very interesting and it's a lot of fun to walk around and take it all in. Stores like the LBI Book Swap, the surf shop, the olive oil shop, etc. are all great spots to grab a gift for someone in your life. This place is a stone's throw away from Ship Bottom Brewing and Fantasy Island, as well. Recommended!
