I call Joy and she call me back within two hours and we set something up. She is very calm and sweet. She took time to figure out exactly what I wanted. I asked for a combination of Reiki and massage so I never knew quite what she would be doing which was nice. The first time she touched my feet it was like I was given a drug in surgery, so relaxing. She let me pick an essential oil to use, I chose sandalwood Young Living. She also gave me a choice of what kind of massage oil. She even gave me a choice of what music! She asked multiple times whether the pressure was OK and it was good, I asked for deep pressure. She has very slow tempo which I've never experienced before, but it was nice. I would say she leans more to the relaxation than therapeutic massage. She didn't spend as much time on my injury as I would've expected at a chiropractic massage establishment, but it was very relaxing. These visits were the choices of a Workmans compensation insurance company whose incompetence was only exceeded by their ignorance in recognizing Chiropractic as a viable source of healing. I chose on my own to see a chiropractor, Dr. Oleson of Armstrong, Iowa, who actually helped me and was able to treat me in a way that allowed me to work. There were many times when I felt I couldn't continue in a job I really love, but with each visit to Dr. Oleson I felt able to continue.
