I am so pleased to say I have finally found a barbershop that has excellent barbers! I haven't had short har in some time because every time I went to a shop in Arkansas it just didn't end up well. Until now. Pachi gave me the best fade and I am so so exited I have someone now. It's 42 bucks for a cut and although that seems high for Arkansas, it is well worth it. Would not recommend this barbershop. Had an appointment today and the barber decided to go to lunch instead of keeping the appointment. Was previously driving to Hot Springs to get my hair cut but was looking for something closer to home. I guess I will try somewhere else in Little Rock where appointments are important. read more

I've had my ears lowered many times in my life and have a few, select, favorite barbershops across these great States. I'm proud to add this place to my exclusive list and in Arkansas! Heck, I don't review many joints, but this one is another rarity. Double check if ya wanna. The shop is wonderfully simple with great picture windows that allow a some good people watching. Pachi is a true gentleman of his trade. He took time and care with the few hairs left on my noggin and correcting a butchered beard from a slaughterhouse in Houston. Pride was in every snip and comb. Excellent!! The space, the team and the energy of the space is warm and welcoming. They are a diverse team of barbers/stylist with easily accessible IG pages with highlights of their work. Booking appointments is simple and each of the guys seem to work quickly w/o appearing rushed - respecting the time scheduled and the customer they're servicing. Finding a new barber is on my list of "things I could do without for the rest of my life". Unfortunately, moving my barber to Little Rock was not an option and flying to LA every three weeks isn't practical. Enter Handle Barbershop, a stunning shop in the heart of downtown Little Rock. I was one of two customers on this cold and dreary October afternoon, sitting on the opposite end of the storefront from the other guy. Alain took care of me, a skintight mid fade, while wearing a mask. Had me in-and-out in no more than 30 minutes, feeling like a human again. Very clean work. The razor finish a must. Came home to a happy and approving wife. Now ready to celebrate our first anniversary, looking fresh. Happy to call this my new home for haircuts. read more

I was visiting from out of town recently and desperately needed a haircut. Got a recommendation from a local hairdresser of this new place that opened up called Handle Barbershop. I decided to go there and give it a try. Turns out I got one of the best haircuts I've ever had. These guys are very passionate about what they do and take their time with each client. The location is great with plenty of street parking. Be sure to bring cash because they only took cash when I was there last. If you forget they do have an ATM there. The fee was only $1.50 if I remember correctly so not too bad. All in all it was a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a high quality cut at a fairly reasonable rate. read more

I was a bit skiddish to try out a new shop after moving since I had a lady that cut my hair for close to 10 years. But they're up to the task, Jacob did me good noticing my haircut despite the recent overgrowth, and fulfilling it to its former glory. The shave was clean and fast, no nicks despite having a beard that can be tough as nails. Probably would have indulged in the couple offered beers if I didn't have other errands to run. Overall, this is the spot to go, I can't imagine them sending anyone out with a bad cut (unless they specified as such). It is cash only though, so come prepared as such.
