My experience with handrail city was horrible. It started off good, we were excited to update our railings, Scott promised us quality work at a reasonable price. everything seemed great until the railings showed up to be installed. The first go around with the railings getting installed seemed to go fine until you looked at the fine details, railings were scratched, screws not installed straight or flush, powder coatings discolored. when I brought up my concerns with Scott, he assured me he would resolve the issue, our railings had to be take out and re installed a total of 3 times before only 1 railing was done correctly. The issue ultimately came down to the powder coating being contaminated so there were blemishes on our railings, the main problem is they only really fixed one railing and had it re powder coated with the uncontaminated powder coating. The installers did TRY and fix the issues with the screws not being straight but the level of craftsmanship just isn't there, their attention to detail is subpar at best. I really wish Scott would have stepped up once he knew the problem and had all our railings powder coated correctly rather than try and "fix" them with spray paint. a few other note worthy concerns, Scott at one point threatened to come and take the railings out completely because I wasn't happy with how the railings were turning out, keep in mind this was his call, I never once wanted them to be removed, just wanted them to look as good as he claimed his railings looked. The installers left a mess anywhere they worked, didn't clean up their trash, left sheet metal shavings from drilling the railings all over the carpet, which they didn't place anything down to protect my carpet from hot metal shavings. So I had to spend 2 hours after they left with little scissors cutting out metal shavings that had melted to our carpet. All I expected was a quality product and service, and I got the exact opposite. I will Never recommend this company to anyone.

I would ignore these 1 star reviews. Offer them a drink when they're at your home working and it'll…read moreprobably make for a big laugh. These guys are professional, honest, and thorough. The bid they gave for my bathroom looked like it took a long time itself. Had everything listed and broken down of what work was going to be down. Easy to understand and gives a good set of expectations of what they're going to be doing. The time frame was realistic. They didn't try to quote me some short time frame to get the job. They were honest and still beat their time frame (which was about 2 months to build a bathroom from start to finish). They definitely had some time off in that frame due to holidays. The whole way through the process they stayed pretty close to the original quote. If something was going to cost more for x, y, and z, they called to let me know and get my permission to go forward with it. If something costed less because of x y and z, they called and let know. The work they did looks great! Any of my issues really comes from my own work I put into it (which is another awesome thing about these guys) I did the painting, and some other little things. Jake showed me how much they would cost to have them do it and if there is any work you want to take for yourself, it is an option you can do! (Unless you know what you're doing, I recommend leaving it to the pros) My biggest regret is going with my own shower faucet set and vanity from Amazon. I should have gone with one that Jake suggested. If you want honest work and transparent communication while have a job well done, these are the people you should call. Literally for anything in your home. Simple repairs, renovation, they know what they're doing.

Jake is not honest. quality is very poor. his attention is more on a bottle then his work.read more
