He charged a reasonable price for the battery replacement and advised that I keep the leather strap since it was an original Movado strap. He took me to another vendor that he trusted who surgically stitched the strap together and made it look brand new! I also had him do a fitting on my Cuban link bracelet, he fitted it perfectly to my wrist and made sure to give me my extra links in a separate bag. I've experienced jewelers in the past that have tried keeping the extra links or not mentioning at all after making modifications.
