My husband wanted me to fix the front door since the freeze we all endured over 10 years ago. I tried my DIY fix from foam patch to stuck some towels, to seal the seams with packing tape to adding a drape... Yaddi yadda. Ok. Time to call a professional. Because it's an exterior door, it has to be fiberglass door because steel door will conduct temperature from outside. Hot out hot in and cold out cold in. No lying. I researched before agreed to get it installed. Also, because of the door frame had been badly damaged with years of abuse from the weather, everything has to go. I was told by some carpenters who wanted to just replace out the bad piece of door frame with a piece of wood plank. No way, José. I was so glad that I refused to get another DIY person's work and getting charged for a professional price. He was professional and polite. My neighbor came by to inquire about his business. I had to give them his card and information. He gave 100% of his attention to my project. That's very important.
