So when our crawl space needed some work Jay with TriStar was one of the people I called to get an estimate from. Not only was he very responsive in coming out and giving an estimate, but his estimate was less than another well-known contractor I talked to. When I decided to wait for months before deciding to do the work, Jay was very professional about it and his original estimate still applied four months later. Once I hired him, the work went very smoothly. Jay is really easy to communicate with and he clearly communicated to me about what would be done and when, and stuck to it! The work was done well, on time and on budget. When there was a freak problem (a nail somehow got driven up from the crawl space through the hardwood floor in our living room), I texted Jay about it...he texted me back immediately and had someone at the house a couple days later to repair the issue, no questions asked. I can't even tell where the nail was now! I've heard horror stories about bad contractors who aren't reliable or responsible and are hard to get ahold of and communicate with...TriStar is the complete opposite of that.
