I had a lot of rot, and his crew recognized it, called it out, and replaced it. Clay was easy to work with and always professional. His team was his own, and everyone knew exactly what to do and what repairs to make. I have had contractors in the past where this was not the case, so I really appreciated how on track everyone was. I had some other projects that I needed done as well, namely a rotten section of fence to be removed and an old treehouse to tear down. I was really concerned about hiring someone to do those two jobs, and definitely didn't want to handle it myself. I spoke to Clay about it and he got both removed and hauled away and I didn't have to think about them again! It was a huge relief for a very reasonable price, worth every penny. I really appreciated his willingness to do these jobs. I would most definitely hire Clay and his team again. They performed a top notch job and were professional and easy to work with.

There was paint cracking and chipping off all over the west and north sides. Clay seemed really confident that his guys could handle the job. Apparently they couldn't. And he did little to no checking up on the job to see how they were doing. They did a terrible job of prepping the house; it looked like they made a half-hearted attempt at scraping SOME of the chipping and cracking paint off, but all-in-all spent very little time on it. They left huge areas un-scraped. They caulked over wet, rotten wood instead of telling the wood repair guys to fix it. Any rotting wood that got fixed happened either because I pointed it out or because it was too glaring and huge to put caulk over. And the caulk job itself was messy as all get-out. The painting and priming were fine, but any moron can do that. Painting anything properly is all in the prep work, and these guys did a horrible, horrible job. The new paint started chipping off from the un-prepped areas about a week after they finished. So, bottom line is, if you have a job that needs very little prep work (no chipping paint, no damaged wood, no caulking needed) then they might do a decent job. They seem to be fine at operating a paint sprayer and handling a brush. But for anything else, best to call someone else or do it yourself.

Finished off by building a new door and installing a dehumidifier. Right Choice Renovations can either do it or knows someone who can. We gave them thousands of our hardworking money and they used unskilled people that didn't know what they were doing. This company is very small and does not have the capacity, talent, experience, expertise, and bandwidth to handle projects larger than one bathroom remodel. I do believe and hope they can handle very small projects but nothing more. They certainly failed us miserably. Because of their size & staffing, Rodas Constriction LLC lack basic structure, organization, communication, discipline, order and quality. Forget about customer service. For example, I visited my house four times during the renovation process. I found windows fully "open", doors unlocked and the air conditioning or heaters on without anyone present. This led to leaks and moisture penetrating various parts of the house afterward. I communicated these issues to Rodas ownership every time without a favorable result. Nothing changed. In fact, Rodas ownership did not accept responsibility and continued their work. Although small, Rodas ownership is "unusually" arrogant and will never admit to wrongdoings, will never accept accountability and will never own they are being negligent. On top of the mismanagement, negligence, and disorganization, the most important problem was that Didier Enrique Rodas and his company, Rodas Construction LLC, failed to apply for and secure construction permits for the structural work as well as permits for plumbing, electrical and other work they had performed. They didn't get the permits to save money and to avoid to doing their work legally, appropriately, and effectively. This act of non-compliance is against all rules and regulations. And...once you pay Rodas Construction LLC in full, they will forever ignore and avoid your issues and requests. They certainly did for us. We still have several exposed drywall openings they had created and don't want to fix. Rodas Construction LLC is very small company with only a handful of employees. But with their VERY small size, they do have a Director of Marketing who amongst other soliciting activities, he manages social media work. Strange...right? For example, this marketing director will soon respond to this post with an elaborate list of excuses for having failed a client who had paid them in FULL. He is the person who responds to all of my complaints to Didier Enrique Rodas. This company will never accept accountability for its faults, wrongdoings and they will NEVER fix issues they had caused. I can write many pages on the issues I had faced with Rodas Construction LLC. Aforementioned remarks are high level insights so consumers are aware. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS! I do take responsibility for trusting and selecting Rodas Construction LLC. I should have known better. I was desperate. But do your research, check multiple references and do NOT pay anyone especially the people until you are 100% certain about the quality of the work.

I was asked on Monday when they arrived if we could find somewhere to stay or a couple of days. Originally we had planned and discussed us staying in the house. This was a good call to leave. But after a week Clinton texted me to come check out our ceilings as if he was done. We'll they were a mess. Dips in the sheetrock that were unfilled, around the lights were not smooth, our trim around the top of the wall is stained and ruined. Which he told us the messed up trim wasn't his responsibility. Above my cabinets looked terrible too. They tape the fan and ruin it because the tape peeled the stain off of it. He did come back Monday and half fixed the things wrong but they are still not good. They used my Norwex cleaning towel which is a $25 towel for paint clean up (my dog got it out of the trash, destroyed my broom, and they used my Dyson vacuum for clean up and stopped it up to the point we had to take it apart. They used my toilet to the point their feces were all over the bottom of the seat, used my cups that were in the cabinet, used the microwave where I had put stuff to not get messy and did not put it back. Clinton acted like none of this was his problem. I wish I would have never have used CFG Home Remodeling. This was one of the worst decisions and his profile pictures and website picture are not at all reflective of the mess I got from them. Also, after 1 week I have a crack in the sheetrock in the kitchen.
