I had Jeremy come out and do some work for me and we agreed upon a per day price which was totally fine for some small work on a remodel job. He comes out and does the work, yet he doesn't properly inform me before installing the cabinets that the hinges bought were incorrect. So he installs all cabinets and I check the and of course the installation was not good because of it. I mention that I could run and get the correct hardware briefly as he works on another portion of the house, yet he seems frustrated at my suggestion, although I paid him for the day. He implies that it was my "OCD" for not liking the work. Although not satisfied, I pay him the agreed fee upon a verbal agreement between him and I that he would come back and fix the cabinets upon buying the right hinges. I contact him the next day and he ignores my message or call until I acknowledge that he's not keeping his word, which he then replies back to me yet never confirms a day to return. The day after that, he gets back with me and confirms a time, yet cancels on me again claiming he has car issues so he pushes off the work again. I also told him to send me an invoice for work, which of course he never replies. All in all, skilled at his work I'm sure, yet doesn't seem to operate his business with integrity and value to the customer. He's also not professional in the way he operates and communicates with a customer. Beware if using him. read more

Luis did a fantastic job mounting 86 inch TV. He showed up on time and did his job with minimal mess. When one of the plugs would not go through the wall cable plate, he went above and beyond. He disassembled the wall plate, made modification (that I was OK with) to the plug to make it fit and reassembled the wall plate and installed everything. One of the screws attaching a heating register to my bedroom ceiling fell off, leaving the register hanging at an angle. I thought it might be a complicated issue since it's a "popcorn" ceiling. I e-mailed Jeremy, explaining the problem; he asked me to send a photo, which I did. He replied that he could repair it for $65! This was a big relief to me, since I'm on a fixed income. Jeremy wasn't able to come out right away, since he has a very large service area, but kept in touch regularly by e-mail. He came over today and fixed the register. Jeremy is very friendly. I manage multiple properties. If there's any issues, best thing a landlord can have is a good, dependable, and responsible handyman, and I can attest Handy Services is not it and outright deceptive. Went to my property, claimed the work order was completed and I paid in full for the job, but tenant said he never came back to install the window screen. Made multiple follow-up calls to have Jeremy either come back out to finish the job, or refund the amount that I paid in full, but he never responded since. Ghosting is what he is doing.
