In May of 2023, I asked Andy's crew to get my sprinkler system in working condition as it hadn't been run in years. They replaced every single head at $22 each. Then they said I didn't have a backflow valve and it's required by the state of Texas, so I had them put one in. Then they said my control box was outdated and put a new one in. All of this cost me over $3600. Two weeks ago, I found a huge leak (lost 6000 gallons of water) and as I'd also been having to use my hose on dead spots in the lawn, I decided to call another company instead of having Andy's back out to fix the leak. Turns out it was a broken pipe, but also an unglued fitting that was making a spongy spot behind a tree where it wasn't noticeable before the elbow broke. The new technician walked the property with me after the repair and he ended up replacing over half of the heads Andy's put in because they were the wrong ones! One of the heads on my property line was a 360*.... I've been watering my neighbors lawn for 4 months!! NONE of the heads Andy's installed were aimed correctly. Four of them were watering my sidewalk or the street more than the grass. The day after they left, I found my backyard gate was broken because it was locked and they forced it open to get to my hose. They also left the hose on and it exploded two days later. I told the crew foreman about this and he said he'd "take care of it". I never heard from them again. If you hire Andy's, make sure you follow them around and point out what isn't working right; apparently they can't tell on their own. read more

Josh came to our home to check out our sprinkler system. He was thorough and honest and made some quick changes that really helped. He showed up on time and was super communicative at every step. I can't compare what I paid with other places, but it did seem a bit pricey. But I guess you get what you pay for, right? I called Andy's when I couldn't figure out how to use my sprinkler controller (just moved in - no user manual provided...) and to see if my sprinklers actually worked. Wesley and Jonah came out to give me some training on the controller and make sure that the system worked. The old controller was no longer working well and was not supported by the manufacturer (it was pretty old...), so I had Wesley install a new Rainbird controller, and we ran all of the zones in the yard! Cool to see where things worked, but even better when Wesley and Jonah found and fixed a broken sprinkler pipe in the front yard and a few broken heads. They did not flinch from the wet and the mud either. :-) They also marked a line that will be impacted by my upcoming porch installation - so helpful! These guys were the greatest and I highly recommend Andy's Sprinker and Drainage to anyone in need of a new system or a fix to an existing system. read more
