First experience with this company was ok i got my kitchen floors tiled ans a backsplash done. 2nd experience absolutely Terrible. I askes dor my shower to be caulked and to fix my ceiling.. the caulking job was terrible missed alot of spots.. askes to come back again to re do it and still wasnt done correctly. The original caulk was never scraped of.. he just did another layer on top of what was there.. The ceiling i asked for new sheetrock to fix the hole.. and it was never done.. now the owner Chris is ignoring my texts. I would never recommend them.. read more

Having known Chris for years, I decided to have him do some work in my house. The stairs on my front porch were sagging because the builder Campo Brothers absolutely sucks at building homes and I was past my warranty so I knew they wouldn't be coming back. Chris was able to raise it back up and repair the railings that were being pulled down as result. His prices were very fair and couldn't be happier with his work and professionalism. Hired him in June to start work in July. Replace floors, paint from ceiling (including ceiling) to floor and install ceiling fans in three rooms (2 bedrooms and living room). The rooms are very small.Painting- He didn't do anything prior to painting as far as buffering out sticker leftovers, smooth out areas- no spackling. I pointed out spots to him he told me the rooms are going to have a lot of touch-ups to do I will do once everything else is done. In one bedroom the faceplate was too big that it went into the trim. It looks like he stabbed it with a screwdriver to take pieces away for it to fit.Again, touch-ups would be done afterwards. Some of the molding/trim looked like they weren't painted.Said I should have just gotten new molding, to make it look better. He needed to shave 2 doors,plus paint them. He only painted the insides, 1 door you can see marks threw the paint.Flooring- In all three but one room it's every wall there is such a gap between the base molding and the flooring it's crazy. Space between wall and molding, like it doesn't look like it's nailed to the wall. He caulked in one room most of the areas and then the other rooms he kind of just half-assed it. In some areas the baseboard was just put too high up on the wall.The closets in both bedrooms the gaps are worse, molding along floor doesn't fit. At 1st didn't paint inside of closets, said "why bother painting the inside of the closet the clothes are going to hide it". I decided I wanted to do something different for the thresholds and do it myself. I did them and he put the wood strip in. He asked me to send pictures after they were done. He posted them on his Facebook account. Of course people thought it was his work. Never said it wasn't.I sent him pictures of the rooms, he stated the customer sent me pictures. He gave me credit for sending pictures but not for doing the work? The one threshold in the living room, he put the wood strip there it came off within week, 2 weeks time. I had nails sticking up.I called him the day that it broke. He told me when he was in the area he would give me a call. At the time that work was done I was there, everything was in the basement. I had taken off for a week. Due to complications with electrical, that he did help me out with, not for free.Turns out things weren't properly done. I have Outlets that when I plug something in the outlet goes into the wall. I had to go to work and I felt confident enough to leave him a key. At one point he kept it. He sent me a message- just letting you know I returned the key. I said great so you fixed the threshold and did the touch ups? He said no. He drove all the way to my house just to return the key knowing he had a lot of work to do?Texted again no response. This work was done July 2017, it's January 2018. He was even paid to do the thresholds. However, I did them. Did he help me out with other things,yes and paid to do so. I gave him a large payment in cash, putting myself in a situation. He was complaining that he had to pay to use the square thing; he had to pay taxes on that and then some other thing got taxed. He said he barely ends up with a payment being paid with a cc. These payments are in the thousands that I'm giving him on cc. He tried throwing in my face "I get this amount of money and I'm only charging you this" and I repeatedly told him, I have the messages, pictures and video to prove our conversations, type of work, Etc. I told him I am not looking for any kind of handout, if that's what you want to charge me then that's what you charge me don't throw it up in my face or do half ass job. Also, I made arrangements for my dog to stay somewhere else so he'd be safe. Almost everyday I had to clean up after him. Plus cigarette butts on the ground. I asked him please don't do that. I eventually had to go and find something for him to use as an ashtray. In the beginning he was cleaning up a bit inside and then it stopped. He went threw the ceiling, only reason why I knew because I walked in as they're trying to fix it. I was texting him after it happened and he didn't say anything. I'm coming home to overflowing garbage pails in my kitchen. I took care of the garbage outside because I'm very much into Recycling. Every day I would come home and it was all piled together again. I told him repeatedly I don't mind taking care of this aspect because I want the stuff that needs to be recycled to be recycled. One garbage day I come home and everything is gone. He tells me the garbage truck have two sides he just stuck everything on to the other side for recycling. I asked my garbage man and he said he couldn't everything went as garbage. I was hoping he'd do the right thing. I'm pissed because I may have to pay another person to do what he was paid to do. I've already seen how he is when customers have complaints (should have been a red flag for me but it was too late by then) I don't want him back here. read more

The owner Chris originally showed exemplary workmanship. Quickly returned all texts, showed up for the job on time and painted both of my kid's rooms at a reasonable cost. There were definitely some parts of the painting I had issues with. However, I liked Chris. Thought good enough I guess and hired him to do my living room walls including wainscoting. Here's where we ran into BIG trouble. Chris and his assistant did an amateur job to say the least. I was appalled at all the mistakes. In earnest, I believe he was out of his league trying to do this kind of work. I took pics. Called him out on his errors which he promised to make right by. Literally went back and forth for 2 weeks waiting for the redo. Suddenly Chris advises his assistance is a no show. Overall, we negotiated $500 cash back since we needed to hire someone to redo the job. To be clear, my walls didn't need touch ups. They needed a complete do over! I'm still perturbed at Chris's means of handling his biz. He had a very upset customer and instead of acknowledging his shoddy work, he referred to me as a perfectionist! Grrr. And don't get me started on the inappropriate messages embedded in his earlier texts to me. I'm married, he's married. Very flirty. Not cool. (I have proof). Enough said. Overall, Chris I'm sure has expertise in some forms of construction. But not all, unfortunately he'll take the job anyway. read more
