We called Bob to repair it with some drywall and corner bead instead. We left it to him to decide the best way to do it. He wanted to make it looked like it was done on purpose, not repaired, so he even designed and cut a couple pieces of granite from the scraps to fill the gaps. Michael came out give me a reasonable quote for the service and started it that afternoon. He dug it all up and removed all the "homeowner fixes" that have been done over the years, rerouted it and I now have functioning sprinkler system again. Thanks Michael for the excellent work! I had specifically requested a GFCI outlet, but when he arrived, he indicated the quote only covered a GFCI and not the outlet itself, attributing the discrepancy to how it was entered through Yelp. Regardless of the source, that added to the overall lack of clarity on pricing. For context, the initial quote was already higher than other licensed electricians I had considered. In short: the job got done, but the combination of pricing inconsistency, unclear scope, and average workmanship makes it hard to recommend.

He ultimately passed on the work because he generally avoids mobile home projects, which I respect as those can be a Pandora's box. After a quick follow-up conversation, it became clear my home is actually a newer stick-built property, and he was open to reconsidering in the future.
