Purchased a new building in Diamondhead last year and paid for an inspection that apparently wasn't…read morevery complete. Over the course of the year I had many issues pop up that should've been covered by my home warranty, but my builder dragged his feet and dragged his feet. He's insisting that he was gonna come back and fix items. As we near the end of my one year warranty. I was having electrical issues so hired a different contractor to inspect the property thoroughly and boy as I pleased and upset all at the same time. Atlas Home inspectors climbed all over this property like a tree monkey for 6 1/2 hours and then followed up with an incredibly precise and very very well documented report showing over a dozen pretty serious issues, the most serious was nearly 4 feet of wiring that had to be replaced in the attic because the builders electrician had dragged it through the staples And stripped down to bar metal. How did my first inspector miss this, but more importantly, how did the contractor think? This was OK to leave because it was highly obvious if he climbed up in the attic and walked to the far end of the house. I've never been up there because I'm an old lady going through cancer treatment and the builder actually had the nerve to accuse me of going up there and stripping the wire in my own home. A live wire, yeah, right! Needless to say, the builder did send the electrician back out within a couple of days. The electrician replaced the wire and refused to give me my piece of wire he removed, which is evidence. Now the builder won't do anything about the other items so apparently I'm going to have to sue him . I already reported to the state contractors license board, but I could not have discovered all of these issues had it not been for my fabulous inspector at Atlas home inspections. While I'm upset with what he found, I'm eternally grateful that at least somebody paid attention and did the job I paid them to do. I feel like for the fee incurred, this gentleman went way above and beyond and I truly do appreciate that.

I was adding a bathroom in my over 100yr old home and I couldn't even get a plumber to actually show up. CITY showed up fast and worked along side me to create the layout that made sense, moving my water heater, washer and dryer as well as adding a sink, toilet, and shower and let me tell you Victor and team did no disappoint on what was a tough job Now I had them come out and set my house up with a gas line and they again showed up and did great work. They came, only here a few hours, replaced a shingle, did an incomplete job on the area of siding needing repair, and left. I expected them to return but they ghosted me. All attempts at contacting them failed. I called the numbers of their representative - the person I had dealt with who appeared to be the supervisor - no return calls. Calls to main business number were futile. Never could reach a live person. Discovered that the owner was "hidden". I have since learned that businesses who 'hide' the owner do so for a reason. I made the mistake of partially paying before work was completed. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, although that does not get the work done. What work they did do was incomplete and not at all what was promised. It was not satisfactory to my Insurance company. The Insurance company said that they (Kevin at United) sent one picture from the front of the house that showed their sign, their truck, and that one shingle had been replaced. The insurance company said that the truck and the sign were very pretty, but they actually needed proof that the work was done. Rip off to put it mildly.

Used precision door company 5 years ago for spring replacement on door. Should have lasted 10 years. Charged me around $800. Spring recently broke. Garage door doctor came the next day. Told me that the spring was the wrong size. He fixed it for$250. Obviously precision door is a company to avoid unless you enjoy being ripped off.
