This afternoon, I went to the Hanes Brands store at 200 Shoppes On The Parkway, Suite 46. There was one woman working, there were no other customers but she didn't greet us, or ask if we needed help. I picked out a pair of black pants with a handwritten tag that said $21.00 and they were on a 40% off rack. I paid and as I was walking toward the door, I checked my receipt. I went back to the register and showed her that she rang them up as $24.00 and it should've been $21.00. She said she didn't know who wrote that tag, but the UPC code that they wrote, pulled up $24.00. She said she couldn't fix it because there was nothing she could ring up for $21.00. If she had looked inside the pants, she would have seen a different UPC code on the sewn in label and she could've resolved the issue. Instead, she just stood there looking at me and didn't even apologize. I walked away and she said nothing.
You might say, "it's only $3" but her total lack of customer service was extremely aggravating. read more
