If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. We're from out of town but Had an appt in Dothan and had 40 Minutes to inhale some food on a Tuesday at 1pm. We Just happened into this place on some Google search and oh my gosh, The food was so so so good! We sat at the bar and our server Nathan was awesome. Super attentive, understood the assignment when we said we were in a hurry and gave some solid food suggestions. We got the ahi tuna nachos...what??!! Yes please with your in house made chips so wonderfully light for the perfectly seared ahi tuna, cucumber, avocado and seaweed salad And whatever that sauce was. The fried ribs were delicious, tender yumminess and the Philly eggrolls also made in house with super light wrappers and delish filling. Dang! While we were expecting some mediocre bar food but whatever is happening in that kitchen is far above! And the prices, personally coming from Fort Walton beach/destin, we thought were well priced. $67 for 3 apps and 4 draft beers! Ok then! We asked for boxes as soon as the food arrived but they weren't even needed because the food was so good we inhaled every bite with a quickness. This place was really cool! Great for kid and adults- arcade, bowling, food & drinks! Restaurant for being an arcade and having bowling wasn't actually loud at all. We were greeted upon arrival and sat right away- not sure if it was an off night but at least 4 servers walked past us and we weren't acknowledged, went up to the front and a few minutes later a server did come over to take our drink and food order. Drinks took a little longer than I expected. Again not sure if it was an off night or our server (she was extremely sweet). Thankfully the food came out fairly quick and was AMAZING!!! The Bermuda Triangle app is a must!! Fried ribs, wings and a shepherds pie egg roll- delicious!! The salmon salad was great, salmon cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the hot bacon honey mustard dressing. The Wright Brothers sandwich was also good- husband said it could've used a little more pork. Otherwise it was a really good sandwich! The fries were soooo good! Son ordered the kids chicken tenders and the chicken was moist and delicious- good sized portion! Daughter ordered the kids spaghetti, it was a huge portion and very good as well. Will absolutely be back if ever in the area again. read more

Just for fun we decided to use the very subpar lanes they offer, but did not expect what came next. A group of kids without parents were bowling next to us & my friend explained that she brought her own ball and it wasn't for them to use. Politely. A group of very intimidating black women & men descend upon us. management, once they got there, pulled them away. Here's the kicker, they kicked us out also with 30 min left to go on our 1 hour we paid for with no refund. Stay away unless you're ok with being the victim of racial violence & discrimination. My colleagues and I came here for lunch, and I ordered the bourbon glazed fried ribs. It was delicious!! They came in four ribs that were cooked to overreaction. They were tender and almost fall off the bone meat. It was only an appetizer, but it was enough for me. I ordered it with a side of onion rings. I highly recommend Hanger 38. read more

Was very doubtful about this place when it opened, but we have been at least 20 times now, with and without 4 yr old grandson. The food is up to par with any other chain place in Dothan. We have tried almost everything on he menu. You can't go wrong, bar is excellent place to watch whatever game want to see. The kids can play games with many options of play time, unlimited or by tokens. Love the fact that there are guaranteed 'win' games for the little ones. Haven't trie the bowling yet, but do plan to. They also have bands, karaoke, wine tastings and painting nights. Something for everyone here. Give it a go! read more

Service was great both at the bar or out at the tables. The food was fantastic. The garlic /Parmesan wings were excellent. The deep fried ribs are amazing. The meat just fell off the bones. Stopped in for lunch on 7/15/24 at 1230. About 8 people in there with maybe 8-10 more coming in after. The following is my opinion. The NEGATIVES. Had to wait for the table to be cleared. The food including appetizers seemed a little high but I understand their costs are rising. However, $3.49 is high for a 10-12 oz beverage that contains no alcohol. The most recent cost i was able to locate(2023) indicated the wholesale price of a fountain drink, for a 22 oz cup with lid and straw was $1.25. Approximately $0.63 for Hanger 38's serving. I was lucky, I came out OK as I had 3 refills. Of course that is because it took over hour from the time I ordered food till it was brought to the table.... Now for the POSTIVES.. Alisha was out server, and she was the bright spot from start to finish. She was cheerful and very attentive and the only sever there. Very responsive to all requests and a delight to the customer and an asset to Restaurant. I had the Sully burger and asked to be prepared medium and it was (apparently that is difficult for most places). The best burger I have eaten in 4 states in the last 45 days. Which almost made up for the hour+ wait with so few people. My wife had the chicken wrap that also was well prepared and very filling. Overall, out of 10, I would give an 8 read more

Me and my girlfriend wanted to have a nice night out bowling here so we walked in around 5 p.m. long story short the guy at the front desk is one of the worst customer service employees I've ever interacted with. He didn't say anything for 10 minutes while watching me stand there. I asked for bowling and he said there was a long wait and walked of for the first time. Once he came back he proceeded to help another lady before myself. This is when he walked away for 3 minutes and came back and I finally had to say "look I need some help". Then we had 30 minutes for 3 people to bowl and didn't even finish one game due to the lane glitching out. $33 just to not finish the game and on top of that we were running through the game. We had no time for drinks, food, or let alone small talk all while 30 kids screech in the background. If you're looking to bowl you might want to check around or maybe call before to see what's going on. We decided to get some food at the bar after and one bartender was very nice he said it was his second day on the job but the other guy with the Santa hat on was short and rude. We ordered some wings and some Philly egg rolls and it took 30 minutes because he said they were "super busy". At the end of the day this place just fails on so many points. 2/10 for me and I work in the industry read more

We went to a birthday party for an 8 year old here. The food was good, the drink selection was good and the kids had a great time. The server did forget one of the drinks and we were missing two tacos but, they fixed the problem quickly. I'd go back! read more

Went to get a couple drinks before an event and they had reserved all tables around the bar for parties that weren't there. They didn't want to "overwhelm" their wait staff. So we were told either the bar or nothing. I don't think we will go back to this place ever. The service is usually pretty bad but we like the drinks. Hangar 38 in Dothan is awesome! Their pizzas are fantastic, anytime we go we usually get the family deal which is two pizzas, a couple drinks, and four hour long game cards for less than $100. We have dinner and use one of the game cards for that night, then we have three cards left over to use anytime it's a rainy day and we're looking for something fun to do. Very slow service and 3 of the 5 games we tried to play had errors or were not working, eating up our game credit. Disappointing!
