It was after the lunch rush, so it wasn't too crowded. Bad Habits is your typical small town dive. As it is now non-smoking, the smoke odor is minimal. There are daily specials posted on a board by the bar. I opted for the double cheeseburger and fries. The burger quickly came out of the kitchen and looked amazing. There were slices of melted cheese on the large patties, along with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. It was one of the best burgers I have had in a while. The server mentioned they hand pat the fresh beef patties daily. It definitely looked and tasted that way. I will be paying more visits here. Bad Habits Bar and Grill may become my habit.

We waited a long while for our first item to come out and it was the bone-in wings surprisingly, then the boneless wings, and finally the meatball sub. The wings were great and I enjoyed the onion rings as well! The meatball sub was cold and did not taste the best. If I come again, I would just come for the wings and a few drinks. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The bartender and guests at the bar were laughing and having a good time. If you're from out of town, it's also worth mentioning the good that the owner does... outside of having this restaurant. He holds food pantries for the locals no questions asked. When we were going through government shutdown last year, he also partnered with Jewel Osco to give away Turkey dinner kits so family's could have a Thanksgiving. Despite the Name on the sign "Kenny's Tap" They do not have anything on tap, and all the bottles behind the bar well they are not available either he just collects them :-/ needless to say we are not off to a good start so I ask for a bud light bottle and pronto there it is my thirst is quenched!!!! My initial reaction aside the bar has nostalgia and is well kept the owner was very nice and out going. I chatted with him a bit about he bar and went on my merry way.
