We knew, at that time, that our Heating and Cooling system was 17 years old and would need to be replaced even though the home inspector and the company maintaining it assured us that it was good for years. We started having trouble with it and looked for a Trane Dealer in this area. Because of Tom's and Trane's reputations, we chose American Heating and Cooling. Tom was extremely helpful in guiding us to a heat pump, air handler and smart thermostat, as well as, a filtration system with UV light that would fit our home and be extremely efficient but, at the same time, was not overkill and overpriced. Between the time we ordered the system and its delivery from the factory in the United States, we started having more trouble with our old system. Tom came out the day we called him, fixed the system and kept us cool in the extreme heat we were having at the time. Tom and his crew did an excellent job installing the new system. They were timely, efficient and very considerate of us and our home. During the install they had to tie into our old duct work. I called because my drip tray for my condenser coil was corroded, so they sent their tech out. They said they couldn't replace the coil so I had to replace the entire unit. They quoted me around $7,500, so I started working on their financing options. I got that done very quickly and called to let him know. Glen came out a few days later to take some measurements and said I would hear from his office manager but it may take a few days because she was going through some personal issues and was not in the office every day. This was in March and it wasn't overly hot so I wasn't in a hurry but after a month I decided to call and see when we could get things moving. No one answered so I left a voicemail. Another two weeks go by so I call and leave another voicemail, another month goes by and I leave another voicemail. Another two weeks and this time I get the office manager. She was very friendly and professional and said she would reach out to Glen. Another week goes by so I call and leave another voicemail today. An hour or so later Glen calls with an attitude to let me know that they left me 4 messages trying to get in touch with me and I never answered or responded. I said I didint know if there was a miscommunication or they had the wrong number but I never got any of those messages. Glen let me know it wasn't a miscommunication because he personally left 2 of those messages himself on the number I was calling from and he already threw my information in the trash and I should just find someone else. I was just standing there dumbfounded that he would just blatantly lie to me when we both know it's not true. Just to be 100% positive I have went back through every voicemail and text from the last 4 months. What's even crazier was I was still trying to give him my business. I really hope people read this and take it to heart because in 40 years I've never left a negative review for anyone but this is just beyond ridiculous.
