It had been driving fine. I couldn't see anything wrong. I had this sinking feeling, and worried about greedy mechanics conning a gullible vehicle owner into unnecessary work to get the sticker. I was told leaking was hoses and the groaning from engine was the belt and pulleys that needed cleaning and adjusting. I am back at VIP as the leaking is now worse and the groaning is very concerning. I was told it could not be looked at today but could be on Monday. I understand being short staffed and scheduling is an issue, but when a customers vehicle has to be left for previous repairs that are failing, it makes the situation untenable. I chose VIP based upon AAA endorsement and referral plus the Veterans discount. I know there was a change in management at this Farmingdale location and the service being received is nothing like I received with the previous management team.
