Four of the 5 choose burgers and I think everyone truly enjoyed their choice. I chose the KC Special - pastrami burnt ends, w/two 1/4 lb burgers with cheese and a side of Freedom Fries. Two others chose the Heavenly Bacon and the last picked the Mushroom Burger. I think it's fair to say everyone enjoyed their burger. The lone dissenter felt the need to be on the healthier side and he went with the salmon. He described it as dry and over cooked. Luckily he choose the French Onion soup as a starter and he said it was one of the best soups he's had! Another one in the group also ordered the same and he said it was delicious. I'm mad at myself for not ordering because that is one of my favorites and can't believe I actually passed on it! It's a mix of chairs and booths. You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. There is a water station available and you grab your utensils and hot sauce there. The tables are plain with a napkin dispenser. On this visit I ordered the lunch special that is around $13. It was Pad See U with tofu. The lunch special also came with a flavorful house soup, which is a black pepper veggie broth including green onions, eggs (like egg drop soup), and fine bits of carrot and mushroom. The lunch special is served bento box style included was one crab Rangoon, one veggie roll with sweet Thai chili sauce, an iceberg lettuce salad with shredded carrots and an incredible dressing that I tried to get every drop.
