I absolutely love everything about Happy Joe's, I love their sauce I love their cheese blend I love their little baby sausages that go on the pizza. Their buffet is awesome and a very good selection, and I have always found the staff to be very friendly. I don't care if you go to Grandview or at the Park avenue you will be happy with both of them. I just ordered a pizza from the Grandview location the other night and it arrived very quick was super delicious and the young woman who delivered it was so friendly and nice, I will continue to do business with Happy Joe's read more

Every kid that grew up in Muscatine, Iowa during the 1980s has a picture of themselves riding the little merry-go-round at Happy Joe's Pizza. Am I right? I know I'm right. Happy Joe's is a Muscatine institution. I recently visited the new post-fire location in Muscatine and was pleasantly surprised to find that the new restaurant is not only very nice, but also maintains the same quality of food that I remember from when I lived in Muscatine. (AND! They salvaged the little merry-go-round!) On this particular visit, my husband and I took my younger brother and my two young cousins. It was my brother's 15th birthday and we decided to nosh here before heading off to see the new Harry Potter. With three teenage boys, we ordered a fair amount of food. We got a medium cheesesticks, a large (Happy Joe's equivalent to) meat lover's, a medium BLT pizza, and a medium dessert sticks. With five drinks, and 30 dollars in game play tokens, the bill came to just at 100 dollars. This seems just a bit pricey to me, especially after being spoiled by The Incredible Pizza Company's amazing deals... The food was great, though, and everyone enjoyed themselves. At the end of our meal, we got the complimentary birthday clown sundae for my brother, and the entire restaurant sang to him... which, of course, is priceless. In general, I recommend the BLT Pizza. It's unique and while it's often imitated, it is never duplicated... at least not with any real accuracy. As another reviewer suggested, the Taco Pizza is also definitely worth a try. It can sometimes be hard to find a place to sit during their busy times on Friday and Saturday nights... though normally there is ample seating. Check it out! Happy Joes...happy customers. This is a small local chain pizzeria thats a bit like Chucky Cheese. Minus the anamotronic animal band, less games, and rad food. Seriously the Njnja turtles would love this place. The za has a good thin crust, nice distribution of toppings, and is well seasoned. The service is super as well. I grew up in Muscatine and love Happy Joe's Pizza. Every time we come back for a visit, a Taco Supreme and a BLT are a requisite dinner for us while were here. Oh I no longer live in Muscatine and only go back to Iowa for a wedding, death, or birth of a baby. No matter the reason I'm in Muscatine I still to this day must get Taco Pizza. I seriously have cravings for taco pizza. I don't understand how I can eat so much and yet everytime I must must get it. It is one of my all time favorite foods and it makes me beyond happy when I take a bite. The restaurant is super clean and they are fast at getting you your pizza. Not only is the new location beautiful the customer service is great as well. I love the fact that you can dine there as a family like you used to when you were kid. read more

Their prices are outrageous!!! I walked in there to see what I could get for cheap... Nothing...The smallest Pizza they had was like a 6 inch or 8 inch Pizza..The price was $6 plus change for one topping, now that's not even including a drink which altogether would cost me $10-$11 with tax for an individual sized pizza, only one topping, and a drink...Way to lose customers Happy Joe's, more like Sad Joe's!!! read more

I grew up eating Happy Joe's Pizza and absolutely love it. The original crust is the best with a crispy cracker bottom and soft chewy, bubbly top that is to die for. Happy joes special, sandy's delight, and combo plus are some of my favorites, but there is no bad pizza there. I've tried mimicking the crust many times at home, but have failed miserably. Nothing beats their original crust. read more
