This was the worst place I have ever been to. DO NOT get your nails done here at all. They do not know how to do nails they rush and when I asked for a refund the manager refused. I don't know where these fake reviews came from I was mislead. I went here based on the star ranking via google which must be talking about a different place. I have a picture of my pedicure paint job and what they call an ombré pink and white. A joke! Bad business and terrible service. read more

I went in for a fill in and a pedicure. My fingernails were not shaped at all, just dabbed with product, filed and polished. The polish covered more of the skin around my cuticles and on my fingertips than on the actual nails. When I pointed out the excess polish, I was told "it will come off when you wash." From the final cost, I figured the tip had already been added in so there definitely was no need for me to leave any more than I was already charged. Never again. read more

Literally the worst gel nail experience I've had on my life. Many people were walking in that had appointments including myself and people were waiting up to 30 min just to get a person because they didn't have enough people. Kim kept pushing gel polish on me which I didn't want because I knew it would be a crappy job and waste of money. When I declined she then started talking about me to the person next to her. Then said regular polish will just chip off, gel is better. I told her I didn't have time which I didn't. She kept pushing it so I said fine. She texted the whole time even when I was waiting for her to polish my nail in between the light. Polish was caked on some fingers. It was an obvious terrible job and she rushed through it and cut some nails to the quick and left the edges noticeably sharp. I left with embarrassing nails and for my feet and gel nails it cost me $67.60 before tip. I wasn't told about a 4% cc fee. After tip it came out to over $70. I can't believe this establishment is able to business. The manager was talking on his phone while he did a customers nails. Others were still sitting in chairs when I left that still were waiting for a person when I got there. This place was also dirty. When getting my nails done I had to have them done over someone else's clipped of acrylics on a towel that was clearly used. I watched her put the cuticle clippers in my water nail bowl to clean and then she wiped them off and put them in her drawer. This place should be shut down. I have gone to this place several times to give them the benefit of doubt. Only once can I say the payment was warranted. The other times I have to this establishment my nails, which is a simple pedicure and gel manicure always come out looking as if a non-professional did them. They dont seem to be trained in how to push cuticles so I have cuts in them, which are irritating. This gel manicure was done sloppily, as well as my pedicure. I want be going here anymore. Super Ruff, messy, and not professional at all. Worst place i have got my nails done ever! Cut me multiple times with the filer because of how ruff he was and i woke up with my finger infected the next morning even after cleaning my hands. Didn't do any prep work before gluing acrylics down, and i also had to get my old acrylics removed, but instead of them doing the soak they just trimmed the nail down and ripped it right off. LIKE WHAT! Ruined my nail bed and ruined the length i had underneath because of him ripping the old nails off taking my nail with it. Never cost the same no matter if you get the same nails again or not. Dude literally sat there like "Ummm" when i asked what the cost was and threw out some ridiculous number knowing that he just got all of us for our money. read more

Happy nails is my favorite place to get my nails done in Ruston. "My" does a great dip manicure every time. My nails always last 3 weeks and she is very thorough with the dip powder to make sure it's even. They completely remodeled recently and they have some brand new spa chairs that are awesome while you get a pedicure. Tools are always clean and sealed in a sterilized bag. When you get a pedicure the tools are also pulled from a sterilized bag and the foot basins are covered with a one time use cover and disposed of after every customer. If you call ahead they are good about making an appointment so you can just walk in and they are ready for you. read more

Terrible service! I'm from Lake Charles and came here to visit and needed a mani and pedicure. The chair they put me in didn't massage and there were 8 chairs available. I ask for assistance and they couldn't make the massager stay on. The owner sat in another chair the whole time talking in their language yet not helping. The tech doing my pedicure stopped in the middle of my pedicure to start my manicure!! ‍ Then she started clipping my fingernails without asking me first and I stopped her from making them even shorter than they already were! So then after doing one hand she went back to my feet! I'm typing this as she's still working on my feet. Never again! read more

So, the two stars were only because they were very friendly and customer oriented. However, the price for the quality was not a good trade at all. There was nail polish all around my nails on my skin, which made the nails look worse. The polish also had several air bubbles after a few hours. The good thing about the nails, though, is that they did certainly stay on when I tried to take them off. Soaking them in acetone was useless. I had to get my boyfriend to peel them off for me using a nail file. Overall, they were pricey and low quality nails given by good people. They meant well, but they certainly need improvement. read more

If you are in the Ruston area, please do NOT visit Happy Nails and Spa off Farmerville Hwy. I went there to have the dip nail polish removed and was Yelled at by the owner. He was apparently mad bc some of the red nail polish got on the white towel he placed on my hand. He screamed that I was ruining their property since the red polish would not come off the towel. He said "you all" which I am assuming is either black women or black women in uniform, "don't respect other people's property!" I got him all the way together and informed him that he would not speak to me in that way and he needed to watch is mouth. I told the female employee to stop messing with my nails bc I was done and leaving. He sent the damn nail worker out to pull on my car door bc I had to pay an extra 5 dollars for the towel!!! The sad thing about this whole thing is there were other customers in their who continued to allow this disrespectful, racist, rude individual to continue to work on them and pay him money. Please wake up people!!! There is no service in the world that is worth having someone disrespect you and treat you like crap. Side note, simply bc I didn't want him to be able to say something negative about the military or black women in the military, I paid all 15 dollars of my bill in quarters, dimes, nickles, and pennies!!! read more

I felt rushed in and out of the door despite being one of two customers. Rushed to decide on what I was having done(didn't want gel, but I was coerced into choosing to do so), rushed to pick color, got a crappy, rushed full set with gel ($50, 15 minute service), rushed to pay and leave. I've been in busy nail salons before and don't mind the quick in and out when they still perform well, but the poor performance with the poor service did not balance each other out here. Only go if you plan on getting a refill or re-paint within a couple of days as they leave you with pitiful looking cuticles, hang nails, and nails. read more

She is rude and not thorough she left nail polish on my cuticles and when she messed up my pedicure she pretended like she didn't know it was messed up and tried to send me out of there with caked on polish. Then she got angry when I asked her to fix it. I thought the first time she messed up my nails that she was just having an off day but I went back and got the same sad service.
