Jollyes is a large Petfood Superstore in the retail park near the Clink in Bridgwater. We have a…read morerabbit and tend to visit Jollyes to stock up on hay, straw and saw dust for his hutch as Jollyes supplies these products in large bags and at reasonable prices. They also stock large bags of rabbit food in several varieties and small rabbit treats too. When I visited this shop at Christmas I was amused to see that they stocked advent calenders for dogs! The one thing that can annoy me about Jollyes is it takes a while to be served, the staff can be a bit slow at serving and card payments usually take ages to be processed.

They sell rabbits and guinea pigs and birds and hamsters and fish. The fish have a 7 day guarantee. I have bought fish from here and they always thrive when you get them home, despite quite a long journey back. The staff are particularly helpful and seem to have good knowledge about the areas in which they work and if they dont know the answer happily pop off and find someone who can help. They have a great range of books on all the animals too. They sell pet food, pet beds, bed clothes and even buggy's to push your dog around in - scarey this!! Encourages responsible pet ownership. Good work.

The Veterinary Centre is situated on Wellington New Road and is near Musgrove Hospital. The car park is quite small, although there is enough spaces for the visitors. The centre its self is not that large and is in an industrial estate. They sell animal food and leads, etc. There is a x-ray room and all the rooms you would expext in a vets. I would recommend this vets as they charge reasonable prices, although it is slightly out of Taunton which may be inconvenient. This is one of the best in Taunton.

They have a lot of stuff you would expect such as leads, bowls, cages and feeders. It is a pet paradise. If you need supplies for your pet then this should be your first place to come.
Caring, compassionate and professional veterinary practice…read more We moved from another local vets to Haydon House and haven't regretted it for a minute. The two vets we've seen have been very thoughtful and caring, both with our cat and with us. They've routinely gone out of their way to be helpful and offer a great service. The practice is clean and efficient and the practice staff very supportive. We particularly like the fact that x-rays and blood tests can take place in-house, so we receive much quicker results than at other practices. There is also a screened area in the waiting room set aside for cats so they don't get distressed by other animals in reception. A lot of thought has gone into the administration to help make the experience of visiting the vets less stressful for the animals. The vet who is currently looking after our ailing, elderly cat is going above and beyond the call of duty. He has now offered to spend his lunchtime opening analgesic capsules, dividing, weighing and refilling so that our cat will receive the right dosage. We haven't been to a veterinary practice who have been that helpful before. Can't praise Haydon House highly enough.

We purchase our flea and worming items from here too, they arereasonably priced and staff are happy to help and advise if you need to know about something. The vet is friendly and helpful too. The only downside is that the car park is very small and sometimes it is difficult to get a parking space.
