Taj Palace's CHICKEN MAKHNI (butter chicken) and HOMEMADE GREEN CHUTNEY are both TO DIE FOR. So good we got it twice - back to back days. We were clearly really obsessed... Also took some time for the staff to prepare so we knew we were getting fresh food :) The chicken is so tender, soft, and juicy while the curry is so rich, creamy, and flavorful (we got the medium spicy). Being avid chicken makhni lovers, this dish was the highlight of our trip and honestly maybe better than the chicken makhni we get back home. Thank you Taj Palace!!

We ended up ordering way to much food and felt really bad for not being able to finish it all. The food was absolutely amazing and the taste was spot on. Very tender chicken, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The price of this all, including drinks was below €70,- so really very reasonable. It's not easy to find, first floor, but it's worth the search(we had to ask :) )

We were greeted as we arrived from a smiling man from the UK, who later had a chat with us to see if we were ok, the food is great, cooked as you like and with the individual flavours of the spices coming through. Live piano music was gently playing in the background with sounds from the 60's to the 80's and some guests were dancing. They also had large Tv's for sporting events and different areas for you to sit down and watch the sunset and the great views to the Atlantic ocean. I would recomend this to everyone (because it even has a "non-Believers" menu for all the non curry eaters like my wife), good indian food with a great atmosphere and the prices were fair as i thought it would be more. Only downside the place closes on a Saturday - the owner Mos, mentioned that it was a quite day due to changeover in the hotels, made sense as we also left the island on Saturday. One last point is that they'll pay for your taxi if you bring the receipt and knock off of the bill(up to 6€) great idea as Memsaab deserves to succeed - we'll be back...

The location of this restaurant is also great because of it being next to the sea. It does not get any better than this. I did however find the staff to be rather bored and unenthusiastic which made it feel... Not so nice which explains my 4 stars
