There were some interesting finds but overall just too cluttered and claustrophobic. I felt like I could barely get around and was constantly afraid of knocking something over. You couldn't even get to a lot of the inventory. Paintings and prints stacked against various items and you couldn't actually view them. It was just too much. My most favorite part of Elk Rapids, MI is by far Harbor Antiques. If you are in the area, give yourself at least an hour, three if you have the time, to peruse the inside of this store. The store showcases everything you can imagine: books, old magazines, jewelry, jars, old boxes, kitchen appliances, knick-knacks, and so much more. Beware! We had loved to shop in this store on our trips to Elk Rapids, but over a year ago we bought a chandelier to be sent to us. We paid $589.36 & agreed to pay the shipping. A few weeks after we were back home, the owner decided it was too much trouble to ship it to Texas, but sadly, NEVER refunded our money. Be careful if you decide to shop here. read more
