When I walked in the door here, I was greeted and offered to help. The man gathered all my things for me. And he knew what I was talking about. But if you go here, expect to pay. I was shocked to find that I was paying almost a dollar a bolt. But in this case, it was worth it to not deal with the usual dumbass at other stores.

I've been coming to Anders since I was a little boy. Back in the day, you could only buy lumber from Anders or from Richardson's Lumber Company. My dad and I would often come to Anders to purchase lumber, to buy nuts and bolts and random odds and ends to fix our farm equipment, or to buy needed tools or other such knickknacks for our use on the farm. While Andrew no longer sells lumber, Anders literally has anything else you need. Whether it's seed for your garden, Bonnie plants if you're too lazy to grow your plants from seed, or any hardware necessities, Anders has you covered. In addition to hardware, Anders does have other little odds and ends. Little red wagons, little old-fashioned toys, and other such things can be found here. If you're having trouble finding something in the Tuscaloosa area, and it's something of the hardware-ish variety, I would recommend checking out Anders. Skip the big box, you'll be glad you did.

They carry Kobalt which is a really good name brand as they make quality tools. I usually wait till they put them on sale before I go shopping. There's also a Walmart across the street where you can do the rest of your shopping. You can buy things you need there that they don't carry here. We came here from NJ to Tuscaloosa, AL to buy these for our daughter who graduated and these were a gift for her new home. Text came that it was out for delivery, then got a text that delivery is to be rescheduled. No explanation. The manager from store (Amy) helped as much as she could with Amber who works in the store. Got a call from delivery company (Talbit) who said the washer and dryer did NOT get on the truck. Well the manager Amy said she was told the driver attempted to deliver and no one home. LIE.. Who do I believe? Amy canceled the order and was able to give us an in-store stock appliances which was more $$, gave us a discount and parts to install. We still ended up paying MORE. Order H0877-272113. I was looking for better restitution for this order. We had to haul appliances to house, unload and install vs. delivery and Home Depot install. I called customer service line, spoke to 6 people such as Diego and Miss Gloria. Each person said we cannot help you, you need to speak to another person. Why do we as the customer have to speak to MANY people and still get no further assistance. I will be writing multiple reviews about our experience. Anything we have bought from the NJ locations, we NEVER had any issues. We have lost confidence in the customer service system. Amy, Amber and other gentleman in the store have been the only Home Depot employees who wanted to assist and gave us a better customer service experience. Thanks to them.

They were so nice and friendly I couldn't put into words how nice they were. How cheap the truck rental was helps me out so much. You need to go around to our showroom" I got in my car to drive to their showroom that had no customers either. No one to wait on customers if they did. I found a woman sitting behind a desk in the very back. She asked the brand of the faucet the hose went to. I didn't know. She asked if I had a picture of it and I didn't. She let me know they were like a plumbing "boutique". If it were a common brand that comes from places like Lowe's she would not have it. I called my husband who had some of the information but just before offering her the additional information she told me it didn't matter anyway because she didn't have it in stock. Duh! She got up and walked away so I left. There was a woman coming in as I was leaving. She had a hose too. I started to offer her some advice but didn't. This place sucked! I will never go back, everyone working there must be really unhappy about something!
