If you are looking for being entirely liable for an $80,000 boat, look no further. If you rather like to relax on vacation and don't mind a less luxury boat, Anchor Bay and Smith Marina offer great boats for similar rates and you don't have to sign off your soul for renting a boat. I have been renting pontoons at this lake for years. I never had a $1 extra charge from anywhere else for anything. Sure enough, I rent from Harbor Pointe and I get the full cost of a propeller charged. They argued the propeller was brand new at checkin and I returned it dented for hitting shallow waters. BS! I am a nerdy Engineer, I sail, I keep Navionics depth charts up the whole time on any boat. Not a chance I went through a shallow or anything that damaged the propeller in about 4 hours of use! The propeller was heavily scratched at checkin, we commented on that with the checkin tech. Indeed, the checkin list had it listed as in "good" conditions, not "new" nor "excellent". "Good" means 'it works'. Ofc, their three-page long rental contract gives you no option to contest anything. You are fully responsible for anything at any point with no reduced liability insurance or coverage. You can be in the red for the full cost of the boat. When I challenged their adjudication they replied "next time take pictures of everything". So, according to them, I should spend 20minutes doing a technical assessment and evaluation of a vacation boat rental before singing off my soul. The food was amazing and the outdoor seating was so pleasant and great views of the lake! Servers were very sweet and accommodating!

We dry dock our boat at Harbor Pointe. The staff, Chuck, Lee, Kyle, everyone is super nice and helpful! I wish I could give them 10 stars! The store is a plus and the Daiquiri Bar is a huge plus. We haven't yet tried the restaurant but we hear great things and we will soon. read more

Thanks to the great pontoon boat (brand new!) our family vacation was so much fun! We also rented an innertube and had a blast pulling family members around Lake Martin and trying to throw them off!! We rented a pontoon for the day-(am-4pm). The boat was in good condition and we enjoyed our experience on Lake Martin. We were not given much instruction but my husband has been boating for 40 years. It was a great experience overall. read more

I come here once a year for a boat tour. Captain Murphy is very informative. Each time I'm come, we travel to different parts of the lake. They have several different restaurants around the lake. We always try something different each time. read more

Getting gas today was made so easy with the help of an amazing employee named Gavin and his sidekick (didn't catch his name). My shoe fell in the water while struggling to get the boat in the spot. Gavin instantly dove into the water to retrieve my shoe and emerged from the water with grace. After, Gavin urgently sprinted over and pulled our boat into the spot for us. Gavin formally introduced himself and made sure to give each and every one of us a firm handshake. He proceeded to sing my friend happy birthday and was so knowledgeable about the marina. He pumped our gas for us and provided great customer service throughout our time at the marina. He was very helpful and gave us directions to the rope swing. We would not have found it without his help. Would definitely come back to the marina to see Gavin. He made me feel so at home after feeling so home sick. Gavin made me want to make Lake Martin my home. We love Gavin and all Harbor Point Marina has to offer! From the bottom of my heart thank you Gavin for having such a kind soul. We rented a pontoon boat through Harbor Pointe Marina and are very happy with our experience. The pontoon boat was a newer model and very comfortable. The marina itself is very nice and clean. The dock attendants were helpful in going over the boat's features and assisting while docking. read more

We recently rented two pontoons because one was only available for two days and I needed three, so we had to turn one back in and rent another. The staff at the actual marina was exceptional and made every effort to accommodate our needs. Our first boat (black one) was perfect and without any noticeable issues. The second one (silver/grey) had a throttle that backed off on its own to lower RPM's (frustrating) and the RPM meter worked periodically. I liked the black one's layout much better. Overall, we were pleased with service. Now the downside, we learned the hard way to take pictures or video of the boats Before and After your rental of the interior and exterior. We received a surprise call on our drive home that the second boat had damage on the starboard rail which I know we did not cause. But I do believe this was not inspected properly before us taking it out since there was a quick turnover. We were charged and additional $200 for something WE DID NOT CAUSE. Bummer for such an enjoyable time, but LESSONS LEARNED. Overall Harbour Marina does a great job. Too bad this had to end on a down note, hence the 4-star rating. read more

Jim is second to none when it comes to boats and watercraft. He treats each one as if he was caring for his own investment. They even have Amsoil products, only place I can find on the lake that has it. The only oil I will put in my watercraft. read more

Lee Lewis went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction with the transaction. I can only imagine how well the entire marina is run.
