We approached the main entrance just before 10:00 p.m. and were told it was too early, so we went back downstairs as instructed. When we returned shortly after 10:00, security allowed us in and we sat at a table. Within minutes, a man named Santiago, who identified himself as a manager, told us we were not supposed to be there and said the bar was not open yet. Despite explaining that security had let us in, he continued to speak to us in a condescending and dismissive manner, making us feel as though we had done something wrong. The interaction was disrespectful and left us feeling unwelcome and insignificant. This was a very disappointing and unfortunate experience.

One white male patron seemed to be bothered by it as he was discussing it with the drunk log cabin republican bartender ...the bartenders husband works at Kruz. There were 4 African American men and one dark skin South Asian man...who could pass for African American if you didnt know he was Indian. If you have a problem with African American patrons just become a private club, but don't roll your eyes at customers who are paying customers just like their white counterparts. This is 2025 and I guess some ideas die hard. Just become a private club then you can have your all male all white fantasy bar. Hate has a home here. I was once a regular here, met lots of great people and had lots of good times. Then things changed, began to notice all of my LBT friends and black and brown friends and even many who were just not of a English speaking background began to disapear. Eventually I found out that there was a growing black list and soon enough I was on it. This place is not somewhere you want to be unless you are a white gay consertive man in retirement and you don't like people who are diffrent from you. read more

Seedy gay bar. Don't go there! I walked in with 3 friends who all were Mexican, and the only guy in here asks us if we speak English. The bartender just looked at me and said nothing when I said hello. It's a fucking Monday night bitch. Be happy someone is in here at all. Very clicky group of people. The one short older bartender, ignores a lot of the new customers. He is too busy talking to his neighborhood friends. I can stand there for over twenty minutes trying to get his attention. And he couldn't care less. So I just walked out, won't return. read more
