This was my first time at this Walker's Point classic! I was impressed with the speed of service considering how packed the place was and the craft of drinks they make. This place is cutely decorated and gives great vibes for a date night or guests visiting in town. Provides a great variety of cocktails and had fun music.

Tin widow is a great local eclectic cocktail bar. Can be on the pricier side, but worth it. When it's not Christmas time, it gives "grandpas den" vibes, but if you get the chance to go to their Christmas pop up- take it! It can be very busy when they do the pop up, but turnover is quick and the drinks are so tasty. They even put them in cute cups you can purchase if you're feeling extra festive!

Best Christmas pop up bar!!!!! Some friends and I went here the weekend after the holiday and the best time. They decorated outside of the bar and on the inside. Staff are pretty nice and the drinks are amazing! Good music to dance to as well. I will definitely come back and visit.

Veryyy cute holiday pop up with all the christmas lights and decor. The drinks are served in really cute mugs too. My coworkers got the unicorn and mouse. I got an amaretto sour and it was very yummy so thank you to the bartender! My group liked their drinks as well. Very busy for a Monday night. People just kept coming and coming.

We were at Don's TV Repair and our new friends mentioned that Tin Widow was decorated for Christmas. Every square inch is decorated! They have festive tiki mugs you can purchase or just enjoy your drink in! We were pretty well lubricated from Don's so we had some non-alcoholic beverages and they were tasty! If you're needing a little Christmas cheer get yourself to the Tin Widow

This bar really knows how to do it up during the holidays. I was extremely impressed by the holiday decor, so many lights!! There was a limited edition cocktail menu served in awesome glassware (available for purchase for an extra fee), I opted for the mulled wine and it was lovely. I have been to the Tin Widow a few times, and it does get very busy pre- and post-dinner hour especially on Fridays and Saturdays. If you stop by at off-peak areas, you can easily get a seat at the bar or a table and also chat with the bar tenders. They always have excellent recommendations regarding drinks and nearby restaurants. It is a bit pricy but keep in mind it is a craft cocktail bar. It has a cozy, relaxed vibe and I would definitely recommend for date night.

Stopped by Tin Window with friends for an evening cocktail, a very homie and quaint spot with a variety of bar, couch or table seating options. Would very much be a fun date night spot. We ordered from their house cocktail menu and I of course had to try the espresso martini. Overall it was one of the more coffee rich/dense espresso martinis i've ever tried- different than the typical martini but in a good way (if you like a dark roast vibe). My coworkers also enjoyed their house cocktails as well. The bartenders were very kind and attentive to us all night which was a bonus. It is more dimly lit compared to other bars but otherwise a great spot in walkers point to chill, converse and enjoy some drinks!

Truly the best Christmas bar in MKE! My husband and I go every year and it's so much fun and the drinks are delicious. We got free shots last year :) highly recommend!

Came in for their Christmas pop up the other night and it was packed! The service was quick, and we luckily got seats pretty fast. The drinks were delicious, as always, and very on theme. Come early for the pop up though bc they do get to capacity quick!

Read online that this was a place to go for over-the-top Christmas decorations in Milwaukee. They were in the process of getting them all up, so we were too early to see the spectacle. We'll have to come back later in the month to see sights, but in the meantime we stayed and ordered a couple of cocktails, which were very good. Loved the eclectic interior design, wondered about the history of the place, and also wondered who is/was the Barbra Streisand fan as we saw both a book and and album of hers on the wall. The place is dog-friendly -- a young lady at the bar was holding her very cute and well-behaved dog on her lap. I didn't have my glasses on and I thought at first it was a monkey. The front of the bar looks like a comfy old-fashioned living room, which was what made me want to come here in the first place. I thought that this was a house-turned-into-a-bar, but it's not. I'd like to come back with some whiskey-loving friends so they can sample the selection they're known for. See you in a few weeks!

We went to the Miracle on 2nd Street for its Miracle Christmas pop-up event. The bar was FILLED with Christmas decorations and ALL of the staff had Christmas spirit. You could tell the staff were excited and wanted to take care of our requests. The drinks had themed names and unique ingredients. A great selection of whiskeys obviously.

We went back to the Tin Widow and had a great time. While we're still older than the usual demographic, my spouse and I were treated warmly, and the proprietor took care of us well. It was different than our last experience. My cocktail was delicious, and I think the Tin Widow is one of the best mixology bars in Walker's Point along with Boone and Crockett, Braise, Bryant's, and Red Maple.

Off menu. Whiskey sour w/Old Forester.

How expensive is this place - comparable?

Their signature drinks are in the $9-$15 range. Since they have a huge selection of both gins and whiskeys, you can order drinks with some rare/unusual stuff and then the price depends on the liquor you choose.

They have an option called dealers choice, where you can pick the spirit and flavor profile of the drink you want: spicy, sour, floral, smoky etc. no limits! You write down on a card what you want and they craft you a cocktail based on your selections. They also offer a variety of food pairings to go along with the select, featured drink you order. We got spring rolls, a braised, pork infused doughnut, and an incredible bone broth that still has me in a tizzy. We stopped here after dinner, so we stuck mostly with the cocktails. Unfortunately, nothing on the seasonal menu really stuck out to me. I stuck with the "traditional" cocktails (spicy watermelon bubblegum, and then banana daiquiri). Hubs went for the halo halo food (which was so cute! All the typical ingredients but served in cubist fashion), and the paired drink. The paired drink was supposed to have different layers of flavor, but they all mixed together quite a bit. Tasty, just not the "layered" experience we thought. I think they almost do themselves a disservice comparing themselves to the aviary - that is a crazy high bar to meet. Granted, maybe we would have been more impressed if we had more of the seasonal cocktails despite them not seeming interesting? Probably wouldnt go out of my way to go here again, but it is a cool vibe and the cocktails were good.

While the menu is limited and not cheap, staff were very friendly and walked us through everything before we selected a couple of things to try. Pretty much all of the cheeses and accoutrements were fantastic! One of the cheese on our plate was the espresso version of Bellavitano, which happens to be one of my favorites, so that was a nice little bonus for me. In addition to the board, we also went with the ricotta bites, which featured one sweet and one savory option, both of which we also really liked. The shop is cozy and if this was somewhere that I lived walking distance from, I could totally see myself coming here fairly regularly and having a little cheese and ambiance. During our time there we saw both couples on dates and old friends gathering for a drink and a nosh, all of which I found just wonderful. Really the only thing keeping this from a five star review was that the side items, such as the crackers were not plentiful enough for the cheese. I know that ratio can be hard to nail but it was not quite on the mark here, unfortunately. However, that would not be enough to prevent me from returning!

When we arrived for our 4:30p reservation, there was a line of half a dozen people hoping to get a seat at one of the bars first come, first serve. One is the alcohol bar and one is a sushi bar. Our server was amazing. She had great recommendations and made sure what we ordered was spaced out nicely as the tables are small and some of the dishes take up a good amount of space. We ordered bottles of mineral water. We don't really drink so this made the meal feel even more upscale and it went so well to cleanse the palate between courses. The food was phenomenal. There wasn't a dish we didn't love but extra about out for the hamachi kama yaki - grilled yellowtail collar. It was bigger and meatier than I expected. Delicious. The sushi here is amazing. I'm half Japanese. When I go to sushi places not near a coast, I usually don't get much raw aside from scallops and spicy tuna or salmon rolls. These hand rolls were absolutely fantastic. The seaweed wrappers had covers on them to slide off just before taking a bite so the wrappers stayed crispy. I would go back here just to order various hand rolls. The pad Thai was the best I've had. The noodles were perfectly cooked and smooth in my mouth with the light yet creamy sauce.
