My partner went with the wimpy burger ( not a wimpy burger.. 1.2 lbs) and cajun fries. From the moment you walk in, you know you've found a true local spot. It's small, cozy and decorated with fun signs and memorabilia. The staff are amazing, friendly, welcoming, and just the kind of people you want to see when you're about to dive into comfort food. Even at 1:30 pm, that in between lunch/dinner time, the place was steadily busy. And now I know why. The onion rings? Fantastic. I'm an onion ring snob and these were fresh, crispy, and legit. no frozen batter here, and none of that "pull the whole onion out in one bite" nonsense ( I hate that). The ribeye sandwich is a full steak on a hoagie roll. The Boursin cheese made this a little too rich for me but an amazing sandwich nonetheless.
