The principal did not care about students being comfortable. For example: In cosmology, we have to change into uniforms for the class and we had a transgender student. Everyone in the class was uncomfortable. My mom talked to the principal but he did not care. He stated: She identifies as a girl so she should be allowed in. The school officers also did not make me feel safe. Officer Morrison was very rude to me and my family, he definitely thinks he is better than everyone else there. Very cocky. Also he is 100% most likely to be a child molester. Doctor Bailey is also 100% a little kid predator and likes to touch the guys up in the bathroom. Ms A, the cosmology teacher is extremely rude and doesn't take responsibility for her own actions and blames the students for things she did. She has 3 total cosmology classes and blames our class only for things. I had to leave the class because it was too emotionally draining. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. The only teacher I liked there was Mrs Glover. AMAZING LADY!

Mary Willis and her staff do an amazing job with the kids and sincerely care about each and every child they come across. During the year Mary writes a report on a child's progress and meets with parents to discuss it. When I have shared these reports with friends and family members, they couldn't believe how detailed it was and how lucky I was to have such a great teacher for my kids. At school, the kids learn through doing hands-on practical activities. From preparing their snacks to washing their own dishes. The children also learn from each other. Mary uses the older children as teachers to help the younger children. This fosters independence as well as raises self-esteem. Children are also encouraged to define their own boundaries by being allowed to say no to others. This also teaches them that it is okay when others say no to them and to respect their boundaries. One of my favorite things is that the kids are allowed to get dirty and messy in order to explore and learn new things. They play outside every day and learn how to socialize with peers. My kids love it at Mary's School and I have seen how much they have grown in the past years as a result of what they have learned there. I would encourage any parents to start their child's education at Mary's Montessori.

We were looking for a safe and intellectually nurturing summer tutoring program to keep up with their French, math, and reading a few days a week. Dr. Reeder and her team were wonderful. Our girls enjoyed each class, which is not easy in the summer. The tutors were excellent, graduate students at the local university. I strongly recommend HCA.
