Business owner Jessie blocked my phone number.  Improper install of vinyl siding: vinyl blocks not…read moreweathproofed or sealed especially around electical panels, jchannel cut short and incorrect, used caulck to cover errors, vinyl siding is loose in areas not secure to Jchannel.  Failure to secure will  allow critters in, gutters need to be repitched, metal wrap at roof damaged but owner did not replace as promised, instead caulck to close gap, soffit not nailed, came loose and fell out, not confident sheath was inspected of damage before new vinyl installed per contractual agreement, installers covered dryer vent with vinyl, had to call back and Jeasie said there was no hole there, finally came back out, but left vinyl loose at base. Jessie was confrontational and blocked phone when I addressed my concerns.  This is my home I have lived in for 30 years and I was looking forward to its new look, but it hasnt been a pleasant experience especially by the cost incurred and more monies to fix the poor install.  In addition, based on the vinyl work, I will have to pay for a roof inspector.  Since I am blocked from contacting owner, I have no coverage in the event of leaks which contract states is good for ten years. Flashing at chimney is of concern too.

He said ok, he will get back to me with a proposal & price in a couple days. I got his proposal via email. It had the amount and he said it would take 2 days to complete. He started work 3 days later. After working on the first steps, he said that he didn't include plastic boarding for the sides of the steps and he would not pay for it. So I had to research and find out who carried the plastic boards, order and pay for them online before he would pick them up. It cost me an extra $70 above the proposed cost for the work. He made a mistake with the bottom plastic board (cut too short). So he had to get another at his cost. But he cut it too short also. He then asked me if he could paint or caulk it to make it look better. I told him that I wanted the plastic board to go the full length across the bottom of the steps, so it would look right. He got mad, drove off, got another piece of plastic, came back & installed it "improperly" and left without letting us know he was done with the job. I do not trust him to repair it correctly, even though his invoice states (1) one year warranty on workmanship. My neighbor and I will repair his faulty work on our own time.
