Unfortunately, the bar service left a lot to be desired. The area was packed, and they only had two bartenders who were a bit slow, especially considering the crowd size. Even though a manager eventually jumped in to help, the line was still taking up to 30 minutes. We actually wanted to buy more drinks, but the wait just wasn't worth it. The frozen drinks are incredibly refreshing on a hot day, but the slow service definitely made them harder to enjoy. I am hoping this improves as this was one of the reasons to get a season pass.

They do have plenty of bar seating and benches inside and around the pool to sit down as well. They do not offer food so you will need to go outside the pool Bar area to purchase some food. They have everything from beers, seltzers, frozen cocktails, and canned wine. Definitely something fun to do on a summer weekend. After, you can always walk the theme park and enjoy some rides afterwards. Love it! They do offer cabanas as well and they offer food if you rent a cabana. This is located immediately to your right when you enter through the Waterpark entrance.

With all of our experience in boating, my family and I can confirm that Wateree Marina has been the best move thus far. Their owner, his wife, and everyone else who works there knows our names. And they all go out of their way to make sure all of our needs are met. (within reason) When our boat needs repair work, which all boats do, their mechanic Randy ensures it is done correctly. For example, I'll never forget one 4th of July several years ago when Jamie, who is the sales person at Wateree, came to pick something up from work. Jamie was already aware that we were camping at the camp ground across the river that week on our vacation. He quickly found us sitting at the dock with our boat that refused to start. Even on his day off, Jamie stopped to help us. He put a new starter in our boat right then and there, just so that we could enjoy our family vacation. The Wateree Marina has consistently been a positive influence in our boating experience, and I can assure that they will provide the same for anyone who comes across the beauty of Lake Wateree. She was very nice, asked him several questions and assured him that on Monday, she would have the Form emailed to him. IT NEVER happened! On Monday, Jim called and left a voicemail on the Y phone. NO CALL BACK! Where is the Indianland Y's compassion, when we are worrying about illness and pending surgery that they can't acknowledge the fact that an elderly man cannot come to the Y and personally request to have his "Membership'" put on hold. Jim was a member of the cancer exercise Group until he could no longer attend. I would like someone to reach out and help us with this lack of compassion and communication. I am 84 and have vision issues and do not drive so I can't go to the Y and act on his behalf.

Reserving a slot seems very easy to do online but if you are doing a party it gets a little tricky. Thankfully Darby & Jessica were such a great help and remained patient with me throughout the whole process. I called anytime I had questions. The design options are endless and the price starts from $28+. Occasionally they will promote a special for the month at $25 so be sure to check their IG first. If you have a group of 8+ you can reserve the entire studio for 2 hrs for your group with 30 mins to setup prior. There are different options to pay and they can customize it to what works best for you incase you want to pay for the group, some of the group or none of the group! They do accept walk-ins but are closed on Wednesdays!
