After a quarter of a century I broke that policy with Dim Sun in Rome and I was pleasantly surprised. The sun sun was serviceable. Good tastes. Nothing off-putting at all. And the nice atmosphere, great service, and air conditioning on a brutally hot summer day didn't hurt either. An enjoyable experience all around. Their dim sum menu wasn't too extensive as compared to dim sum restaurants in Chicago, London, SFC, NYC, Toronto, etc. We tried a couple of dim sum items, beef chow fun and hot & sour soup. The soup was really good. The beef chow fun and dim sum wasn't bad although not the same level as most big cities that have Chinatowns. I would say for Rome it's good given there isn't a huge Chinese population. If you need your dim sum or Chinese food fix, this isn't a bad choice.
