I later learned that it's a Shell gas station IGA grocery store hybrid. It looks very unassuming from the outside, but it's almost bordering on a gourmet grocery (or gourmet for the area). I visited mostly for the restrooms, which they don't have many of (only two stalls), but it's fine. Walking around, they have aisles of groceries -- almost everything you could need. They also have a frozen section, a "beer cave," lots of snacks for the road, coffee and other stuff. There's also a chicken restaurant inside, with lots of tables to sit and eat there. The store was clean and very organized, and it was a pleasant experience to visit.

Although this…read moreis part of a large network, it's nice to have staff there that are very courteous and helpful. The non-pharmacy staff were very nice and assisted in many ways. I believe have lady that helped me was named Carol. The pharmacy staff are always super helpful in any way that they can be. There has been a few times where my doctor called my prescription in at 5:50pm. (They close at 6:00pm) I called immediately and informed the young lady who answered the phone. (I will most certainly get her name and update this when I do so) I explained the situation and how my work hours were not well aligned with their hours and the situation was even worse because of the last minute prescription being sent ten minutes before closing. None of this was a problem for her. I informed her that I would be there by 5:55pm. She pushed the prescription through and it was waiting for me as I walked in. They have been nothing short of spectacular. As I have TRICARE insurance, I am limited on where I can have my prescriptions filled. The only reason for the four stars instead of five, is the fact that the hours are a bit short to me and they are not open on the weekends. However, I will not be going to another place anytime soon, nor would I want to with the type of service I get. Thank you to all! I highly recommend this place!

Service Plazas that are built between both directions of the expressway make so much more sense than having a rest area on each side...but that's not what this is about. This Hucks is huge! It's spacious and well lit, and has just about everything you need from a service plaza. The entryways are clean and well maintained. It was a rainy day and staff was frequently checking the lobby and mopping up water that had been tracked in. I love the barn wood décor. It's homey and feels rustic and outdoorsy. There is no end to the stuff you can buy here. Sandwiches. Snacks. Soft drinks (both bottle/can and fountain). Donuts. Fresh sandwiches. Rotisserie chicken. Dippin' Dots!®. There's also non-food related stuff like Baseball caps. Apparel. Basic car/truck supplies. A lot more stuff than I would normally imagine. All of the racks and shelves and displays are well-spaced so you don't feel crowded. The only staff member we interacted with was a cashier and she pretty unenthusiastic about the whole ordeal (we about a donut, some beef jerky, and two bottles of water) and I got the impression she'd rather be somewhere else.
