Second, they're not Covid safe. They don't screen the patients upon walking in. On this day they were running behind, I was there two hours because the Dr. yip yaps with patients about other unrelated subjects. I may appear to be annoyed in this review and I am because my appt was @ 415 and he didn't see me until 525. The ONLY reason I waited was because he has helped a family member with their asthma. The Dr. will ask you a series of questions about your life and build a time line, I didn't understand this part. He wanted specific answers from me, I was annoyed by this time and said man that was a long time ago. He was asking questions about things that occurred 20-25 years ago. Anyway , Bring your lab results and medication if you have them. This will help with the visit. ASK QUESTIONS! The Dr. doesn't like to be questioned because he is use to treating the local latino community which probably just accepts whatever he says. Most of you will know what I mean by that. Anyway, I showed him my lab results and he said they looked good but yet two other General Practitioner doctors told me that I was borderline for disease. How does that work out? He finished his questioning and prescribed me a bunch of pellets not for what I originally went there for but to clean my liver, blood and strengthen my heat beat? This is where it got interesting, he took the pellets out of the bottles, put them in a shaker and then poured them into a plastic bag. I like to know what I'm putting in my body so I asked him as to why he did that, furthermore now I won't know which one is which because they all look alike. He said, You don't need to know and I didn't want to give you all the bottles, you'll have to take them all anyway. I'm still confused as to why they come in different bottle but then he mixes them. I continued to ask about side effects, he said you shouldn't have any. As some of us are aware you can still have side effects with natural medicine, especially if you don't take it appropriately. Everyone responds to medication and natural medicine differently. Also ask, if there are any interactions with medications or supplements that you're taking. Anyway, This was a short review of my visit. The point is, ASK questions even though he doesn't like it. Besides this, I 'm sure he knows what he's doing based on all the reviews. But he needs to listen to the patient and explain in detail what he is prescribing and for what or just give you the bottles. The wording on the bottles will probably be in a foreign language but that's why we have the internet and other sources. I'm not sure if I will be back or just go to Chinatown in DTLA.
