Overcooked Nacho plate-dry chicken (they ran out of beef) and overheated cheese that had that chewing plastic type of consistency

Went to enjoy watching the UW Women's Hockey team claim victory and then listen to the Cajun Strangers. We ordered Nachos at the beginning of the first period of the hockey game. It was busy but after seeing plenty of other tables receive their food I inquired about our order. The wait staff said she would check. A few minutes later another wait staff came to us and told us they were out of beef and we could subsitute more vegetables or chicken. We opted for chicken (mind you I just saw two other orders of Nachos being served with beef and noted that they ordered after us). Now it is half way into the second period-still no food. I inquired again. This time the excuse was the chef left and forgot to pass it along! Now with 2 minutes left in the 2nd period (1 hour after we originally ordered) we recieved the nachos. (The menu describes the dish with over 1 pound of beef-not so with the chicken) Overcooked chicken. Cheese that was chewy from being over heated. Toppings maybe covered half the chips.-- Not a very tasty or good experience. People with sandwiches or cheese curds were served within 10-15 minutes. Eat elsewhere if you are going to Harmony to watch a show

They have a beautiful outdoor patio, I wish we would have sat outside! We sat inside however, got the live music, which was fun, but felt loud after awhile. The food was okay, just took a long time to come out. You order at the bar and they bring it to your table. Overall a fun place with good vibes, especially after a drink or two!

The two times we have gone here have been during the holidays, and attending the kids music show. They get super busy during this time, and their grill/kitchen area of the bar is super small. They've also never had enough staff on, so you wait forever to order, get drinks and so on. This most recent visit was DELICIOUS food! We went early enough where we got to ask questions about the menu and they were so accommodating with adding a burger to their mushroom burger, and the woman suggested a garlic aioli that they have. It. Was. So. Delicious! Husband had nachos and we shared cheese curds. He mentioned that he was still hungry after the nachos, so make sure to get something heartier or add more protein.

Love Harmony so much. They have a great outdoor patio area with street parking. They have great food and the staff is super friendly. Get the homemade soup and blue cheese dressing on everything! Haha

What's the first thing that comes to mind to have for dinner before going fire-dancing with friends on the summer solstice? Brats, right? Of course! What? No? It's just me? Well, that's what happens when you're at Olbrich Beach catching some rays and are subjected to the craving-inducing scents from 1,000 Father's Day celebration BBQs going on at the park. Surprisingly it's not that easy to find a local place on the east side that you can just walk into and order a brat. Enter Harmony, the harbinger of good things to come. I'm not one who enjoys going out alone, especially to bars, but that's something I'm trying to get over. So it was a relief to see the place only half filled with low key, relaxed people who barely noticed I was there. I was however, immediately noticed by the friendly, smiling young bartender (who looked all of fourteen), so I was put further at ease. Also delightful was a live band playing happy zydeco music in the other room, a genre which I adore. I sat at the bar and ordered my 'beer brat'. With sauerkraut, it's only $5.25. Win! They also had a fairly good selection of craft brews on tap, and mine was cold and delicious. Brat, beer and fries for $12. The brat is pre-cooked and then browned in the tiny kitchen just off the bar, and it's always fun to watch food being made (if you're me). They also grill the kraut, a nice touch. It's served on a big, somewhat fluffy sesame seed bun, which seemed like an odd choice, but it worked. The fries are good, too, and the order is huge. I would have sprung for the deservedly popular pub chips and bleu cheese dip, but they were twice the price of the fries. It was a lot of food, and totally satisfying, and I finished every last bite. I think this is a place I can feel comfortable going to alone or with others in the future, and I plan to, often. :-) Note: cash only. Five stars instead of four if only they had a fire grill and not just a flat grill.

Try the walnut burger. Shoot some pool. Listen to great music. Chat with Eastside locals. This place is a Madison institution.

Bartenders were very nice. Tip them. There is an ATM near the restrooms if you run out of cash. The acoustics are fantastic and I loved the St. Patrick's Day weekend concert! Crystal Corner is located in the famed Willy Street area of Madison, sitting on the corner of Willy Street and Baldwin Street. Crystal Corner has the vibe of the neighborhood, as is it divey, funky, nostalgic and truly local. However, even with all those things, this spot missed the mark for me and my buddy. We swung by on Sunday afternoon for a few drinks while wandering around Willy Street. We bellied up to the bar and ordered a couple of Bloody Mary's, to which the bartender said "Oh, I need to make up some mix. I can't believe people still drink those things around here.". Which was odd, as that was about to be our third bloody of the day, with neighboring restaurants going as far as having special bloody menus. The bartender pulled a can of tomato juice out, dumped it in a pitcher, added a few dashes of hot sauce, Worcestershire and some seasonings. And that was it. She then took some rail vodka, mixed it all up, and topped with an olive and pickle. While I know this sounds phenomenal, it was in fact one of the worst bloody's I have had. Additionally, the olive and pickle were a weird, almost rubbery texture. The combination of everything was off putting...and that was just the start. Next up is the space itself. While I appreciate a good dive bar that is full of nostalgic artwork, furnishings, lighting, etc...but it shouldn't be visible that the place hasn't been cleaned since these things were added. The ceilings and floors were the worst part, with the ceiling tiles being caked with black dust and dirt. Again, being worn is part of being divey, but being dirty doesn't have to be. In addition to the the main room ceilings, the bathroom ceilings were awful, missing tiles, moldy pipes exposed and just an overall feeling of ick that is beyond a normal bar bathroom. Last, but certainly not least, was the service and vibes. They were off, and kind of weird. When we arrived, there were a few locals and regulars, and then a few folks, including us. While the bartender was friendly with us, she was very rude, uncomfortably so, to another patron when he pulled out a credit card instead of cash (cash only spot). There was a little back and forth, then he left. Even after he left, she was calling him names and such to the other patrons. Again, uncomfortable, especially as a new patron to the bar. Overall, the bloody wasn't the only thing that left a bad taste here. From the bloody to the service to the dirtiness, this place needs some love and was just not it for us.
