Our son said it was like being back in Milan. Very tranquil atmosphere, with cool vibes! Beautiful shells, coral & plant greenery. Food is excellent! Pizza crust amazing & noodles freshly made. Definitely a real treat!

Beautiful place! Staff was awesome. Food was even better than I thought it could be. Pizza was simply delicious. Perfect red sauce. The pasta was so clearly fresh, incredible! The ragu was delightful!

I try to eat here with friends once a month because it's that good! Always feels like a treat. Takeout is a great option, too, if you can't get a reservation. I usually order the Bolongese - but everything here is fresh & delicious! Servers are always charming too! And they offer bottles of house-made limoncello...!

We dined here on a Saturday night and had a larger party (4 adults and 4 kids) and the food, service and ambiance were all great. We got seated in a nice booth by the window. My husband and I split these pasta entrees and enjoyed them both: RIGATONI ALLA BOLOGNESE TAGLIATELLE They have an "unofficial" kids meal when we inquired which included pasta with red sauce or butter. Our kids enjoyed those and the server brought them out first. Overall we had a great dining experience and I recommend this place if you like Italian food.

Had dinner there last night and it was a nice experience. Busy but still managed to get a bar table for 2. Server was training another staff so we have extra attention for the evening. Watch out for those anti-pasta. It is big! We had the roasted octopus anti-pasta and two other entrees, a pasta and a piatti and it was a lot. Had to to pack the pasta to go and we shared the piatti for dinner. I had the striped bass and server was very accommodating. Since I don't want carbs, they substitute that with arugula salad. It was a nice complement to the dish. Had the homemade fraglittale parts. The fraglittale was chewy and thick. Taste good too. We were seated next to the kitchen so that was fun too. Overall good vibes, had an enjoyable dinner and had good conversations.

I made reservations two weeks in advance which are highly suggested! We scored some convenient street parking nearby the restaurant. Ambiance is loud, modern, spacious - ideal for a hang out with a group of friends/casual outing. Dates - highly recommend. A bit of sweet and salty. I enjoyed the flavors of the muffleta sandwich. Easily could be shared amongst two people. Disappointment was from the pera pizza. Crust was good and had a nice cheese pull. The pear sweetness I was expecting didn't exist and they were VERY bland. Would come back to try the pasta. Drinks are made well.

I'll be honest--I'm not an Italian food person. But this spot? Total game-changer. We ordered eggplant fritters (crispy perfection), sausage pizza (savory and satisfying), a summer salad with shrimp (light and zesty), and octopus. Now, I usually go for grilled octopus and steer clear of cold preparations, but this one was a surprise hit: cool, refreshing, and had a satisfying crunch that totally won me over. Every dish felt thoughtful and elevated without being fussy. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in town. If this place can convert a non-Italian foodie like me, it's doing something very right. We sat outside which was super cute ! They have string lights hanging. The only down were the little nats flying around everywhere. Wish they had candles to try and keep them away. Shout out to Anna ! She was great.

We did not make a reservation ahead of time. We were offered sitting in the bar area so we did not have to wait. As it turned out that it was perfect because the bar also serves full menu. The ambiance was very nice, service was prompt and accommodating. The three servers were very professional and friendly. The wine, salad, pizza, shrimp scampi and vanilla ice cream were all delicious.

Deelicious!!! Couldn't decide between pasta and pizza so got both! The vegetarian was amazingly delicious with the perfect crust in a brick oven! No sauce on the pizza surprisingly so when I asked for a small amount of sauce they charged me $3? What? The bolognese pasta sauce was also sparingly but good enough for the dryer side. Service was good and love the bottle of water on the table

Wow what a great restaurant! I was lucky to get a seat at the bar on a busy Saturday night. I was taken care of by Dee and she is a gem! From the negroni to the tiramsu just perfection.!!La Dolce Vita!

I'll admit that when Bar Corallini first opened, I didn't love it. Because we were not initially wow'd, we hadn't been back for a few years. Our opinion has officially been changed, and it has suddenly been launched to the top of our favorite restaurants list. The antipasti platter is what did it for us, paired with the phenomenal service we have received the past two visits. Top tip - order a side of pizza bread with your antipasti platter. You won't be disappointed. We also can't get enough of the Bergamot Spritz, and the 8 Finger Cavatelli. Visit soon - you won't be disappointed.

Bar Corallini was delish as always! Our sever was very kind and helpful. The restaurant was beautiful and we loved the vibe!

On May 8 we visited Bar Corallini on Atwood Ave. to celebrate our middle daughter's graduation from UWisconsin-Madison. It was a terrific experience and made for a great evening. Bar Corallini was extremely accommodating to the dietary restrictions (vegan) of a couple of our family members. Our server, Elena, was fabulous. The restaurant seemed packed with locals and had a very nice vibe. My middle daughter, who graduated from UWisconsin-Madison, enjoyed a vegan muffuletta (sandwich with marinated zucchini eggplant red peppers and artichokes and vegan tofu ricotta) on homemade pizza bread and kale salad with vegan crunch. Like the other main dishes, it was a very generous portion The four course, prix fixe meals were all very good. Hats off to Chef Pedro Caldera Herrera. My wife and oldest daughter loved perfectly cooked scallops. My youngest daughter praised her pasta dish and said the vodka sauce was light and not heavy at all. My rigatoni was a delight. The desserts were impressive too. Bar Corallini's general manager, Carlos Espinosa, stopped by to see how things were going and was very gracious. Overall I know we were a bit difficult with some things and Carlos and Elena were very accommodating. By the way, another vegan place, the Green Owl, is around the corner. We ate there one night too and it also was a good dinner. Our middle daughter is off to new things. But the outstanding experience we had at Bar Corallini is a good reason to go back to Madison if the opportunity materializes.

It was not what the other person was drinking, but oh my was this one of the best margaritas I've had in recent memory! It was SO good. It had a lot of ice in it, so next time I might ask for it straight up just so I can savor it and not let the ice water it down. We also had delicious bread brought to the table with a plate of olive oil and balsamic. The bread was cut into nice little pieces, was warm, and had a delightful texture where the outside was slightly crisped but not enough to impede your bite and the inside was just warm and soft. The have a nice, varied menu and it was hard to decide what to get. I was really craving marinara sauce, so I ended up going with the Cappellaci Di Salsiccia which was a meat and cheese enclosed pasta with marinara. And it was delicious. It also came out very beautifully plated. My dining mate ordered the Penne Pollo e Pesto and loved it. I'm not wild about pesto, but had to sample a bit and the way the pesto clung to the penne was really tasty. They also have a ragu lasagna and chicken piccata on their menu that I can't wait to try. As we were leaving, I saw a sign with two of their featured fall cocktails and both sounded incredible. I will have to be back for all of these things!!

My boyfriend's family and I came for a Sunday dinner and despite being a larger group, we were able to snag a table immediately. Don't let that fool you though - this place is popular and we seem to have gotten one of the last tables available. When it came to food and drinks, I got a white wine sangria, which I really liked, but it only came with an orange wedge on the side of the rim. I was disappointed because I was expecting fruit in the sangria. It wasn't a big deal, and was an okay drink. When it came to food, Lombardinos had a couple specials, one of which was a wood grilled broccoli and cauliflower appetizer, and their blueberry salad. We also got the calamari and olives. Overall, I really enjoyed all of the appetizers. We then all got our own entrées - unfortunately they were out of the veal entrée for some of our family members. I ended up getting the scallops which I thought were overcooked, and I didn't like the couscous that came with. It was too acidic and the roasted tomatoes that came with the couscous didn't help with the acidity levels. However, my boyfriend did share some of his crab and clam linguine. I really liked that dish, but they were out of clams as well, so it really was only a crab pasta. I hope they are able to offer their full menu in the future, because I think I would come back, but only if they had some of those dishes available.

The restaurant was beautiful and the service was amazing. I appreciated that our waitress was very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu and what ingredients they contained, which is perfect for anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions (like myself). We were seated near the open kitchen which also added to the dining experience. I tried: - Scallop toast - I really enjoyed this. It was mild, not fishy tasting at all, and the brioche was toasted very well. I'm not a huge seafood person aside from sushi and poke, and had never had scallops before, so I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. - Ricotta Raviolini - I was not a huge fan of this, which was especially disappoint since it was my main entree / the most expensive on this list. It was essentially a folded sheet of pasta with a tiny bit of ricotta, topped with barely cooked asparagus and snap peas. The menu also lists lemon infused olive oil, but I didn't taste that at all. The parts of the raviolini with a good amount of ricotta were delicious, but the dish overall was bland and tasted like raw asparagus and peas. My friends also tried it and none of them liked it either. - Baked Potato with The Works - super simple and perfectly executed. It comes with bacon, which we got on the side since I don't eat red meat. Potato was fluffy and salted perfectly, with a good amount of other toppings. My friends who do eat bacon said it tasted more like ham than bacon, and they actually preferred the potato without it. - Dark Chocolate Bread Pudding - Loved it. I love bread pudding and chocolate pudding, but never thought to combine the two. It was delicious - soft, not super sweet, and great portion size. I would recommend sharing, it's pretty rich which can be overwhelming at a certain point. - Flightless Bird mocktail - this was one of the best mocktails I've tried. It has a black tea base but tasted more like a regular cocktail without the alcohol burn rather than tea. Everyone at the table enjoyed trying it too. Despite the raviolini being a miss, the rest of the food, service, and ambiance made this such a wonderful dining experience that I can't wait to come back and try more.

As soon as I sat down, I was asked what I wanted to drink and if I was dining at the bar. I ended up ordering a Negroni Sbagliato since I rarely see that on a cocktail menu. It was very well made. Kudos to the bartender, Warren! He also explained the nightly special and I ended up ordering the pasta dish and the fennel salad. The pasta special was so yummy and the tomato sauce reminded me of my Italian grandpa's sauce. The owner, Dino, checked on me and told me a little about himself. Dining solo can be hard, but I'm thankful that the staff here made me feel comfortable. It was the best meal I had on my business trip and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to this area!

The carbonara was a standout, and the octopus and calamari were some of the best we've had. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the tortellini was another favorite. The only misses were the house Cabernet, which was disappointing compared with the quality of the food, and the lack of any non-dairy milk option for coffee. It's 2026--having oat or almond milk available feels like a pretty basic expectation at this point. Those are small criticisms of an otherwise excellent dinner. We'd absolutely come back, especially for the carbonara, octopus, and calamari.
