Nothing but Kudos for Harmony Hospice Las Vegas. My wife who was suffering with pain from multiple surgeries (2 knee replacements and a revision, cervical and 2 lumbar) and declining Dementia took a serious downward turn on 3 July. We had been anticipating home hospice and the 4th of July weekend did not look to be a good time to start. I made the phone call anticipating a Voice Mail session. Surprise, Michelle answered and took relevant information. On the Friday Holiday 4th of July I received a call from Harmony liaison Joe Trujillo - he did a DocuSign via email for legal documents. On Saturday the July the 5th Nurse Mia arrived to complete the intake. On Sunday July 6th Nurse Mia did a follow-up visit. This all happened so rapidly and on a big Holiday weekend. There was a following cascade of RN's, CNA, Social worker and religious support. The care and compassion that was delivered was superb. Many many thanks to our dedicated care giving team- Joe, Michelle, Mia, Nicole, Christine and Reverend Solomon who were with us to our dear wife and mother's passing. They only care about getting paid and not the patients or their care. Worst experience I have had with patient care in my life. I am battling stage 4 cancer and have been treated like I am bothering them when I am in need of care. I am now shopping for a palliative care center because now I want treatment and I don't want to leave my life and what's left of it in anyone's hands. read more

HARMONY HOSPICE allowed 2 individuals move into my mother's home. They took over her medications and refused to allow me to visit my mother. I called the police to remove them, the police said I would have to open a probate. HARMONY Hospice did nothing to protect my mother. These two individuals stole everything that was not nailed down, trashed her home and then stole $ 18,000 from her bank. The bank told Mr to call the police. Harmony hospice facilitated their behaviors which prevented my mother to spend time with her family as they refused to let me visit. They wanted to be able to take everything they wanted inside, so they refused to leave and would not let me visit. read more

Harmony Hospice set up my dad's bed and all equipment on short notice so we could bring him home after three rough nights in the hospital. The intake provider, Lisandro, was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He treated my dad with masculine no-nonsense dignity, if that makes sense, and we all rest assured we were in good hands and had done the right thing. My dad experienced about ten peaceful hours with us in which we could coddle him and shower him with love and gratitude. After he passed, Mia came promptly to our house, though it was the middle of the night. Mia, too, was so kind, classy, patient, and empathetic. These are wonderful people, and my family and I are forever grateful. I hope they are well compensated and are treated well by their employer and other clients. I honestly don't know what I would've done without harmony Hospice the people there are so loving and so caring and honestly I needed someone to just take control and that's exactly what they did from Kimberly. The nurse, who, right from the beginning was amazing then there's maggie CNA, who came with the biggest smile every time and my husband responded so well to her I almost feel like he looked forward to her coming and then Camille Camille was amazing. I don't know what I would've done without her at the end they have a loving heart so these people are just beyond words I thank them from the bottom of my heart, I like a lot of people was scared of the word I didn't feel like my husband needed that word. Hospice. but as time went on in the how they guided me through the daily process, never letting me have a worry they made it there worry it's just it's beyond words. The loving caring staff at Harmony is the Best! The compassion they showed for my Dad was Amazing! From Robin his nurse to Theresa, Diane and Eva his aides were my Angels! oh my! where to start! We were at a lost at what to do with my uncle. Doctors and the hospital kept mentioning this scary "hospice" word!! we didnt want to give up the fight.. we knew "hospice" was not for us. Well, one day I met Amy from hospice and she explained how we didnt need to give up the fight. Hospice works with you, in your home! Harmony hospice was able to get a hospital bed, oxygen and everything my uncle needed to come home within 2 hours!!! nurses and cna came each day to take care of my uncle. As our needs changed, medicine and equipment was delivered to our house that same day. There is a 24 hour nurse line! It is unfortunate we didnt understand what hospice was sooner. My uncle got transfered home and passed away within 3 days. But those were 3 calm, comforting, nuturing days. When calling the 24 hour line the first night, the nurse asked "do you want me to come out" ... i thought it was just a 24 hour call center, but she came out at 11pm. changed up his medicine and helped us position my uncle comfortably. My uncle passed away quietly, my aunt was sitting my his side, they were watching the Hallmark channel and suddenly she noticed he was no longer breathing. We called the 24 hour nurse line and Kim came out and took care of everything from there and stayed with us (until 2am) until my uncle was taken away. my uncle got to have dignity with dying and my aunt got to have her husband home and enjoy his last few days on earth. we can not say enough wonderful things about Harmony Hospice, we only wished we would have found them sooner!! read more

The first time my mother went on Hospice, the Care Center highly recommended Harmony to take care of my mother. I was very pleased with the communication and the care that she was given. My mother had Dementia and was not always the most polite of patients. But Harmony knew how to deal with her. My mother got better and she ended up not needing Hospice any longer. Then, after some time, the need for Hospice came up again and I was more than happy to have Harmony take control. They were with her a year and right up until the end. They made her passing very loving and peaceful. I would highly recommend Harmony for anyone who is thinking of putting their loved one on Hospice Care. 5 starts for sure!! read more

I switched my dad's hospice about a week before he passed. The other place didn't believe me when I told them he had an eye infection. The day Harmony cake for me to sign paperwork to care for my dad HE GOT EYE DROPS THAT DAY. The nurse (Megan) was there almost everyday to monitor his condition and his meds. Had almost everything handy that he needed also. (by either having it with her or bringing it first thing the next morning. They were polite and knowledgeable about everything pertaining to my dad's car and events that would happen after his passing. I would recommend this place to anyone needing this kind of care. I could write a whole novel about my dad here, but this is a review for Harmony Hospice. I'll keep it short and sweet. After my dad had his second chemotherapy, his condition of living has gotten worse, especially at the age of 79. When his doctor had mentioned he has 1-2 months to live, millions of things just ran through my mind, simultaneously. One question being, "If the hospital can't keep him in, who's gonna take care of him?? My mom is also too elderly to take care of him. She won't know much what to do!" For sure, I thought he would die in the most miserable way, at that point. After my mom had spoken to his doctor about a hospice at home, as an option, my face lit up with hope. But, I still had the worrying thought of "Are they good? How involved can they be? My mom can't speak any English; how can they communicate?" I flew down to Vegas to see my parents and introduce myself to the hospice nurses. My first impression of all of them were very warm, friendly, and really made sure my dad is super comfortable. Deb. I love Deb. Since there was a language barrier between my mom and, well, with every English-speaking people around her... Deb insisted to continually text or call me, whenever she and I had questions about dad. Even though I live all the way in San Francisco, she and I kept posted, so I can translate to my mother. She was very much involved in this process. Candy is great, as well. They were all so very caring to my dad. But for Deb, I can't express enough how much she had helped us. So very informative. Without any hesitation, she (among other great nurses) would arrive my dad's house in the middle of nights to check if he's OK. I had Deb described to me the process of death. Obviously, depending on each person, the experience varies. But it gave me some sort of an idea and almost an ease of mind what to expect, so I won't panic. My dear dad had passed on November 24th @ 1:15pm. Deb mentioned to my brother that the way he had passed was, seemingly, painless. And that he went almost peacefully in his sleep. My very dear friend who wanted to live her last days at home, was ONLY able to, because of Harmony Hospice. Let me start by saying I have never in my whole life met a kinder person than Shirley the Hospice RN assigned to my dear friend Carole. It is very sad to say, I have lost many loved ones, and NEVER met a RN that comes close to the kindness and compassion that Carole and Harmony Hospice gave. Harmony Hospice are one of a kind. We brought our mother-in-law from Florida to be home with us for the end of her life. The hospice in Florida, which were great too, made all the calls to Harmony. With in one day, we had all the equipment needed to care for our mother. The CNA Julia, was delightful, and so helpful teaching us things we could do to comfort our mom. Our hospice nurse, Stephanie, was as sweet, loving and compassionate as could be. We had to call them in the late night and early morning when mom had TIA's and a nurse came right away. They provided all the care items needed to make our mother comfortable. The medications were delivered to our home too. Our mother passed peacefully and pain free yesterday morning. We called Harmony to let them know of her passing, and with in a 1/2 hour we had the most loving caring nurse come to help us. She made all the necessary calls for us. Saving us added grief. She stayed with us until the funeral home came and lovingly took our mom from our home. My mother in law was a super Roman Catholic, and Harmony had a chaplain who stopped in to visit also. I was not sure how my MIL would handle a non catholic person, but she truly enjoyed Camille's visit. Camille showed a you tube of a priest singing a song my mother knew well. I cried as she tried so hard to sing the chorus with the priest and with Camille. Camille called and arranged for a priest to visit and administer prayers for the sick and administer communion.A very precious time. Harmony Hospice made this sad ending, a peaceful and easy time for all of us. We have had to call them out for minor issues and also a few major problems. They have done everything they had said they were going to do and always went the extra mile. Not sure where to start... picking a hospice was really hard. It's like walking on the lot of a car dealership! They don't care your loved one is sick, they just want you to sign with them to get your money. When Harmony came to visit us the rep was so sweet and compassionate. They had everything set up the day before Dad got home including meds to keep him "comfortable" that the hospital wouldn't give him. Once he was transported Harmony had their staff at home to meet him. Eric was his nurse, really a nice guy. He did everything we asked of him. Vivian was the chaplain, such a beautiful soul, I wish she was my spirit guide. I can't remember his CNA's name. She took very good care of my dad. Unfortunately she had to leave to take care of her own mother. And lastly, the oncall nurse. I can't remember his name either, I feel soooo bad! He was amazing! He was the one that had to come when my dad passed. He sat with my daughters and let them know their Papa passed away because I just couldn't do it. He was so gentle with them and prayed with them. He spoke to my dads soul and prayed for him as well. My dad was only home with me for 5 days but Harmony made this transition so much more peaceful than I could ever ask for. Than you read more
