The venue itself is absolutely stunning and comfortably fit our 250 guests. The wall of windows overlooking the pond is what sold us from the beginning. It creates the most beautiful backdrop. The property is full of gorgeous photo opportunities, including two bridges, a fountain, a tree swing, an apple tree, and even a small vineyard. Not to mention the beautiful pond with huge fish! It's truly a hidden gem tucked away on a quiet country road. One of our favorite things was having everything in one place. There are separate spaces for both the girls and the guys to get ready, which made the day so much easier and more relaxed. Our guests stayed at nearby hotels just 20 minutes away, making transportation simple while still giving us the peaceful, private setting we wanted. A huge thank you to Gene, Shannon, and Ken. They each played such an important role in making our wedding day possible, from helping us plan over the past year and a half to working tirelessly on the day itself. Although the ceremony we serviced was held inside the large event barn, everything was beautifully arranged and very well organized. I hit the jack pot when I found Affair to Remember. Tammy was always quick to reply to both my phone calls and emails (even with the time difference). Her prices are super reasonable and the best part... her food is really good! I had the herb chicken (yum!), cabbage rolls (they were the most popular- even my mom said she hasn't had cabbage rolls this good since her mom's cabbage rolls), and roast beef (again, good). The other great part is for $20 she delivers and sets it up. I didn't have to pay for the rental of the heating trays and she provides bread, butter, plates, and rolled silverware. So if you are looking for good food and service, then look no further.
