The parents are always welcomed on campus and it is actually a joy to volunteer. Staff sincere and kind. The kids here at Regents are learning well because they are loved well. They are taught that God comes first. Not politics or tribalism. They are ALL known and recognize for their individual gifts. We never really knew our son had such a desire to learn like he does here at Regents. I would say being dedicated to Jesus and the Bible is important at Regents. Anyone looking for a trendy politically correct school that treats wisdom as competitive facts and figures should look elsewhere. Regents is training leaders in a culture that is hostile to many moral truths. This school is a rare gem. Graduates here can stand boldly on Christ's foundations, blessed with truth of God, convicted on right vs. wrong. No price too high for that kind of education in my book! We are blessed beyond to be here!

The last review posted by Mark REALLY surprised me because I know families who are Catholic and who attend Regents. Also I am of Indian origin and I'm at Regents.... My family loves CitySchool! It's been the best support to my family this past year. This is my…read moredaughter's second year there, she attended Pre-K with Ms. Carson and Mrs. Zaunbrecher. On the last day of school last year, I lost my job and I was devastated. The first thought that crossed my mind was I wouldn't be able to send my daughter for another year because there was no way we would be able to afford tuition. And actually, we were already receiving a 50% discount. This was devastating for a plethora of reasons. One, I was desperate to have my child keep receiving a Christ centered education AND, I was so scared to lose touch with the community that we had built over the past year. So with a heavy heart I went to Karon (the Director) and Laura (Director of Community Engagemen) and told them we needed to unenroll my daughter from attending the next (THIS YEAR 24-25). The first thing they said was not, ok lets get her unenrolled but: We're so sorry this happened - do NOT unenroll her. It is more important for her to have this Christ centered education than it is for you to worry about how you will pay for it. We WILL work this out. And also, how else can we support you? They will forever have my heart for how they handled this. I also love it for the fruits I see taking root in my daughter. Conflict resolution, spiritual and emotional character development. They see the child as a whole and fully formed person and they nurture them. The community is just, beautiful and kind and loving and SAFE and everything I really wanted/needed as a child. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts! Love, The Horning Family

We have 2 kids attending and like the diversity, high expectations, and school culture. They both love this school and enjoy events like "roller skating week", pool parties, lots of after school sport options and overnight trips. This helps them bond with both students and teachers. Paragon offers high academic standards mixed with life skills. We like the focus on a well-rounded education with academics at least 1 grade level above the standard. In elementary, they are also developing good social skills, learning responsibilities, and planning skills for future academic success. (For example, Paragon gives kids a daily planner to track their homework assignments and get parent signatures for visibility). In middle school, there are lots of team projects, hands-on opportunities, presentations, and field trips. (Projects like running a small business during lunch and breaks.) There are many resources for parents and a great community within and around the school. We recommend this school to friends also.

One of the…read morefirst things that caught our attention when visiting schools was seeing how Paragon graduates--after high school and even college--return to visit their teachers. That speaks volumes about the lasting relationships and sense of community the school creates. We love Paragon's motto: "Work Hard. Play Hard. Be Kind." It perfectly reflects what life--and education--should be about. The school is also wonderful for busy families, offering a wide variety of before- and after-school programs, enrichment classes, sports, and summer camps. Paragon's Valor program ensures that new students immediately feel welcomed and connected. The school year even begins and ends with a pool party! There are countless fun traditions and celebrations, including Elvis Day, Chinese New Year, Día de los Muertos, and even a full week of roller skating. Students are placed into "colleges" and love earning points through school spirit, volunteering, and community service--culminating in friendly competitions to see which college wins at the end of the year. Engaging field trips are an integral part of the curriculum, and the school also offers international trips for families during the summer. We accompanied the sixth graders on a trip to Colonial Virginia, and it was a truly marvelous and enriching experience for the students and for us! Our middle school son is proud to be taking all honors classes, and even with the academic rigor, he is able to play three school sports while also practicing another sport outside of school. With Valor and study hall, students have ample time to complete homework and stay organized. We would also like to give a heartfelt shoutout to the incredible educators and staff: Mrs. Lype and Mrs. Correro for being outstanding math teachers; Coach Josh and Coach Nick for being terrific coaches; Mrs. Behr for being an inspiring World Cultures teacher and for teaching invaluable organizational skills; Mr. Wyatt for being relatable and humorous; Mr. Stubblefield for encouraging students to pursue their passions through English; Mr. Aidan for being a wonderful Valor teacher and Rutgers coach; Mr. Cory for planning impactful field trips and summer camps; Mr. Joey for being such an influential Dean of Students; and Mrs. Hay for being a truly one-of-a-kind Head of School who expands learning through meaningful travel experiences. Our son will undoubtedly become one of the many Paragon graduates who return to visit the teachers, staff, and administrators who have made such a lasting difference in his life.

All teachers and staff are there to pray for and encourage your child every step of the way. It's awesome to have such a caring extension of our Christian principals being taught at this school. The teachers that are called to teach at a Christian school are very special people in my eyes. I'm certain they can find another teaching job that pays twice as much in the public school system and they feel led to work at NBCA. I always pray that God would bless each and everyone of them for following their calling. Definitely worth the investment for our kids.

For this staff of educators, it's more than just a job...it's a calling and a ministry and they give so much of themselves on a daily basis. And lastly, the families...so many wonderful parents and kids at this school. I love that the parents are both encouraged, and welcomed, to be involved and present in their children's educations. NBCA is a family...one that we're blessed and so happy to belong to.

This was the cleanest and safest ( private security ) option in Austin. The teachers genuinely care and the gym class/new inclosed playground is amazing for busy little bodies. The low student to teacher ratio is key, and they even bring in authors from the local book store for story time. But now having two young kids, and knowing the importance of education at this important developmental stage, I know that there really is so much young children need to thrive. Wonderwell is not only the best preschool in Austin, but in the country in my opinion. My son went there for three years and my daughter for a year before we had to move out of state. Leaving this school was the hardest part. My son started when he was 2, he could barely speak and was SO shy. When we left, he was so confident, a true leader, and LOVED school. The teachers, the staff, the other families, are all above and beyond. I couldn't love or recommend Wonderwell more!
