They offer quite a few options and the portions are plentiful. Literally, every single person my mother and I encountered were wonderful. The nurses, doctors, therapists, transporters........Every one of them was professional, patient and cheerful. Impressive hiring standards!! The "gym", where they do all the physical and occupational therapy is huge. They have so many people in there at one time yet it is very organized. They had tables with groups doing critical thinking activities. Groups doing physical exercises and also lots of one on one physical therapy. Again, I was impressed with the level of patience and kindness these therapists showed their patients. The doctors and nurses were so patient explaining the diagnosis, prognosis and plan to rehabilitate. I've heard horror stories about rehab centers and I personally have dreaded ever having to go. After seeing how my mother, and all the other patients, were treated I would recommend this place to everyone. Bottom Line: Encompass does a great job of rehabilitation in a pleasant environment.

I was in a wheel chair when I saw him, completely unable to stand on my legs. After three weeks with the friendliest people at the rehab center, I was on crutches and two weeks after that I was using a cane (much to the surgeon's disbelief). I then walked into the rehab on the sixth week under my own power and gave them back their cane. They were so nice to me and also very professional that I will go to them first if I ever have any other ailments. I highly recommend them if you are having any problems and promise you will be satisfied.

Don't chose Executive Recovery Center; here's why:…read more I was a patient at the Executive Recovery Center from February 24th to March 2nd 2016. I ended up filing a HIPAA complaint because one of the staff left my patient profile up on his unattended computer with his office door wide open (with a welcome sign hanging on the doorknob). This staff member also left documents containing personal medical information on his desk under the same conditions described above. Also, I was summarily discharged from the Center because I suffer from Paruresis (an inability to urinate with someone in the room). I filed a grievance requesting an accommodation (being searched prior before closing the door or submitting to a blood test, etc.). I was then discharged from the Center because of my Paruresis. I asked for a written response to my grievance but the Program Manager refused to provide a response except to throw me out of the Treatment Center. Lastly, the patients are required to turn over their cash and credit cards during the admission process. If you need money for ancillary items during you stay you have to use cash and they actually charge a 10% fee to obtain cash from your own credit/debit card. I also witnessed another client leave because of poor housing conditions and lack of food. There are plenty of rehab places in Florida, I strongly recommend that you choose another one.

The moment you walk in, you're hit with the overwhelming smell of urine. When she rang the bell for assistance, she waited--and waited. Yes, we understand aides have other residents to tend to, but waiting 45 minutes is completely unacceptable. Especially when that delay led to my mother falling--something that never should have happened. then to cover it and tell us that she didn't fall, because her bottom did not hit the floor stating she slipped out of her wheelchair per the nurses on duty, no report ever was written. Let's talk about the lack of basic care: they would take her to the restroom and not put her oxygen back on. We found it multiple times just lying on the floor--completely negligent and dangerous. But the final straw? She was left in bed all day long, struggling to breathe with pneumonia water in her lungs and a horrible UTI .I had to call and insist she be sent to the emergency room. Did they send her? They waited until my brother arrived 40 minutes later and asked him again if she should go to the hospital, as of today, my mother lays in the hospital fighting for her life. Our family is heartbroken and outraged. In our opinion, this facility should be shut down. We will be making a complaint and calling onbunsmen on them . Working in the healthcare system myself you bring your loved ones to be cared for not to be left in their bed struggling to breathe because of the lack of care our loved one received.
