I called Sandbothe Plumbing and they came in the morning as promise. I have called 3 plumbers already and no one ever fixed it the way it was......except SANDBOTHE PLUMBING. It took him 3 seconds to find an issue with plumbing work I already had done. The brand new pipe that the other company had installed was not even attached!! He told me to call them up and I did. I was Out of my element with this request!! Well truth be told I was scared because they see people who don't know anything About plumbing a mile away!! Same way at the car dealership when you get your car worked on!! Ryan took over like we were family. He told them they had to make it right. He said you could see the pipe was not attached and you just left it. He handled them like a pro. Actually thought I was watching a superhero movie!! I was the damsel in distress and Ryan was Spider-man!!! He did not have to do that, he explained to them how to fix it the right way!!!! Then here comes Scott!! This man right here is AMAZING!! I hired Affordable Plumbing Sewer & Drain to clear my sewer line. They told me it was done, but…read morewithin just a few days my drains were backing up exactly the same as before. The City of Columbia checked the line and confirmed the issue was still on my side, meaning the line was never fully cleared. I reached out to the company several times, but they stopped responding. I haven't been able to shower or do laundry for days. Any reputable drain company offers a callback/warranty, especially when the problem returns this quickly. Instead of fixing their incomplete work, they left me with the same issue and no communication. This has been extremely stressful and unsanitary, and I've received no support or follow-up. I hope they do the right thing and correct this, but as of now I cannot recommend them.

I thought I was lucky and was ready for them to come out. They arrived the next day - not in any type of work vehicle with signage and no uniforms. I showed them the drain and he had trouble getting the plastic guard out of the drain. He informed me he wouldn't be able to do it without getting the guard out and then walked back out to his vehicle complaining the entire way that he had "used the last of his cash to drive out here" and I "was a waste of his time". I asked them to wait as I was going to give them a check for $50 to cover a "service call". They entered my premises again without permission and somehow magically remove the guard. At this point they "attempted" to snake the drain. According to the gentleman he "wasn't able to go in through the floor drain due to a T in the drain". He then wanted to snake the main or the kitchen sink. I refused. I was pretty irritated with them after the nasty comments and bad attitude so I told them no and this is a drain we have had snaked NUMEROUS times by other plumbers WITH NO ISSUES. I asked for the bill - didn't receive any paperwork, nothing to sign, no invoice, and no receipt. They charged me the full amount $220 for NOT FIXING THE DRAIN. I paid the TOTAL bill with a check, which could be cashed immediately at my bank about half a mile away. Then called the main office and left a message so I could discuss the bad attitude and entering my premises without permission. A young lady returned my call and informed me they needed me to pay a different way because "they were having issues with their company checking account and it was locked". I told her no I wasn't doing that. I paid and he accepted payment, the check could be cashed at our local bank and since no receipt was provided this was the only receipt I had showing they were out. She did apologize for the surly behavior and him entering the home again without express permission, but then she got an attitude because I wouldn't pay a different way. They wanted me to make it out to him personally, give them cash, or give them my card number over the phone. She would "happily have him run back by". I told her no again and to not send him to my house because at this point I am concerned they may not be a legit business. I had to hang up because I was also attempting to work during this time (over an hour) and I had a meeting. I called back after my meeting and left a message they still have not returned. Since he didn't come back by I am assuming they either got the check cashed or will wait for the "owner to get the account unlocked tomorrow". So ultimately I had to call another plumber, so I contacted Roto Rooter. They came out within an hour. The guy looked at everything, had it snaked, a bill with recommendations written up, vehicle (with signs for the company) packed up, and his payment within 20 minutes. That cost me another $369 (well worth it). So I paid over $500 to have a drain snaked twice, once by someone who shouldn't be doing plumbing and the second by a professional! Crazy!! Will NEVER, EVER do business with this company again! But highly recommend Roto Rooter!
