We purchased two different cakes from Harps for my daughter's wedding. They were both moist and delicious and we received many compliments on the flavor. Great cakes for a great price! read more

I love Harp's! It may be more expensive than Walmart, but you definitely have small crowds and better clientele. Their meat department is the best of any grocery store, by far! read more

I have been a loyal customer of the Searcy AR Harps store for 6 years since moving here. I go to Harps to support them and to help keep them open and to try to keep Walmart from running them out of business. We have 3 place here to buy food...Kroger, Harps and Walmart..oh an one other called CashSaver I think but I don't go there because it doesn't look clean. Anyway, Ive never had a problem at Harps until yesterday, Friday October 5 2018 at about 2:30 p.m. when I went to the deli counter to buy a hot meal. There were two employess and neither had a customer. Neither looked at me or said anything to me. I stool there about 5 or 8 minutes and said "do y'all not have anyone covering the hot food?" The guy who was a young guy, dark hair...never looked up. He was slicing meat for a customer who was not there! There were no other customers besides me! He said "Yep, didn't you just hear her say she'd be right there?" I had heard a girl say that but it was the employee covering the cash register where you pay for gas and buy convenience stuff...not the food counter cashier/employee. I said "No that wasn't her that said that, that was the girl covering the gas station register". He never looked up and never said another word. I left. I won't go back to that counter ever again. read more

At checkout, staff ignored us while struggling to ring up a simple item, and the senior clerk seemed more focused on shopping for herself than helping customers. My last resort was to go to the Walmart Supercenter. The aisles were very bare and i had little to choose from. After being let down, i was ready to just go home. As most women know, it's very hard to love your body in all its forms, and shopping can be an emotional experience. Once i was ready to leave the attendant then asked if i found anything, the answer was no. To that she responded "We just don't have much for ladies your size" and scrunched her face at me. That hurt so deeply. Whether i was skinny, or large, women should be made to feel confident in their skin. I'm very disappointed in the service. Luckily the baked goods made up for some of it. Fiance said it was the best cinnamon roll he's had, close to his mom's and my banana pudding cupcake was pretty good. We might stop again if we come through but we will have to see.
