Harrington Guesthouse. is about 15 minutes walk from the bus station down the road opposite the Great Western Hotel. There's a small car park outside for three cars, and the police station is only over the road. Owner Jackie Lloyd is very friendly which is a bonus after a long journey, the guesthouse overall is a great place to stay. There's seven bedrooms with a self catering flat, also a lounge with TV and Billiards table, I call it Billiards because all the balls have numbers on them. Room number seven is a nice room with views facing away from the noisy street, the bed is kingside with a light over the top.
All rooms have bathrooms and shower with towels provided, and there's a flat screen TV with free view in all the rooms. Rather surprising, as most of the older hotels and guesthouses still have those box like TV's. Breakfast is from 8.30 until 9pm, very good they are too. Each guest has a room and front door key, and there is lots of information on what to do in the area. There's a bus stop down the road to get to most places, Newquay zoo and the Boating Lake are only five minutes down the road, both of which I will review. Will most definitely stay here again. read more
