She said it was an easy, painless procedure. She had to come in today for a follow up. We were greeted right away once we walked in. Mom went over to the counter where there were 2 girls who were working the front desk. It was a quick check-in process & then we went & sat down. I don't even think we were even sitting for a minute before my Mom got called back. The girl who called her back was the one who took care of her. She took a picture of the area & showed it to the doctor & then told her he didn't need to see her. She felt the area & told my Mom she still had the dissolvable sutures underneath her skin. She told my Mom to put Vaseline on it once a day & massage it in a circular motion 50 days times to help dissolve them. Mom was probably out back for 5 minutes & then it was time to go. Waiting room was nice & clean. Office is still requiring masks when inside. My Mom just has had all good things to say about the staff here.

I went back in after it "settled" and nothing still looked good and I was advised to either pay for an additional TWENTY units or do more next time .... In addition, if you put a deposit down for your next appt to "save 10% on the next appt", BEWARE because they will keep your deposit if you have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances... very greedy place forsure.

Despite that, I was scheduled with a physician who doesn't even perform the type of surgery I need. This made the entire visit feel like a complete waste of time due to poor scheduling. My appointment was at 9:00 a.m. (the first of the day), yet the doctor showed up about 25 minutes late. Once I was finally seen, the visit lasted less than five minutes. I was quickly told I have arthritis and would need shoulder replacement surgery, but no non-surgical options were discussed at all. To make matters worse, I was then told this doctor doesn't perform the surgery and I'd need to see someone else--meaning I now have to wait months longer for proper care. During the exam, my shoulder was moved in a way that caused significant pain that lasted for days afterward. I was given no guidance on pain management, physical therapy, or anything I could do in the meantime. I was also surprised that no medical history was taken, no medications were reviewed, and no vital signs were recorded. That raises serious concerns about their standard of care. After the visit, I called the nurse's line with questions about managing my pain. It's now been four days with no response. While the staff may seem polite, the overall experience was disorganized, unhelpful, and dismissive. I did not feel listened to or properly cared for at any point. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience.

Dr…read more Reisch didn't want to do it until my high blood pressure was under control, and he wanted medical clearance from my doctors. After being put on 3 HBP meds, I made an appointment in March. He cancelled my appointment 45 minutes before I was to see him because he didn't receive medical clearance. I was furious. If my nephrology team and primary care physician weren't worried, why should he be? He said epinephrine can spike blood pressure, and I asked how much he intended to use--a gallon? I followed up on the medical clearance issue--apparently there was confusion about where to send it--and got that sent in. In the meantime, I called another oral surgeon on Monday, got a Tuesday appointment, and had it done. When on Wed. I got a call from NHOMS to set up a 3rd appointment, I was happy to tell them I had had the surgery done elsewhere. This was a very frustrating situation that I believe was unnecessary. As a result, I do not recommend NHOMS.
