They always take excellent care of me and my grandparents. Never have any issues and get back to me in a timely manner.

They will blatantly serve locals before people from out of town. I will be visiting Greenville again but making sure to avoid this place.

I Cannot believe a pharmacy would be closed on a weekend!…read moreHere's a flash for any Seniors that are diabetic and use Freestyle Libre 2. For 6 MONTHS my Drs office has been "trying" to get it approved from Medicare and they kept saying they would not approve it as a D prescription. It is a B under medical. So the Drs Office was stupid.. I have a supplement and Walgreen kept dening it. Today I took 10 minutes and got through to Medicare and they were kind and helpful and here's the deal...Walgreens does not bill Medicare. Medicare suggest CVS. I am not near one here but they are in Auburn, Augusta, Waterville, and Portland. I will be changing all my perscriptions to CVS and drive the hour to get it. SO NOT HELPFUL.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I have used this pharmacy in the past and haven't really had…read moreany problems until recently. I live over an hour away and this is the CLOSEST pharmacy to me. So anytime I need medication, it is a pain to drive down, but it's the only option. There are other pharmacies near this one, but I needed a certain medication that only this pharmacy had at the time. They didn't have enough to fill my entire prescription, so they were only able to partially fill my prescription. I had enough to get through about 5 days but needed to return for the rest. I tested positive for mono, tonsilitis, and strep throat, so making sure I can take my prescription on time every single day is essential to my recovery! Well, I'm here to tell you, the people in this store do NOT care about you or your wellbeing. I'm just now feeling well enough to return to work, and don't want to miss any more time, so I planned on making a trip down on the weekend. Well guess what?! The pharmacy wasn't open! Tried again on Sunday! Still not open!!! They claim it's because they can't find a pharmacist to come in and work. I get it, people don't wanna work right now, with covid still going on, and I get that some people don't like working weekends, but you are messing with people's health by not having someone there! And causing unnecessary stress! The last time I was in this pharmacy they had at least 5 people working in the pharmacy. So, you're telling me you can have 5 people working during the week when it's not busy but can't even get ONE person to work during the weekend. Now I've had to skip doses of my medication because I ran out. The last thing I want is to get sick AGAIN, all because you can't find employees to work during the weekend. Thankfully I was able to find someone who could pick up my medication for me during the week while I was working. Get your shit together Walgreens. Maybe hire some people that know how to do their damn job. (I would have tried a different pharmacy, but since this useless place had already filled part of my prescription, I couldn't go anywhere else, I tried. Even went as far as calling my doctor to have my script sent to a different pharmacy and it couldn't be done) On top of all of this, the last time I was at this pharmacy, I had to wait OVER AN HOUR to get my prescription. This place is so useless. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Don't waste your time. And if you're like me and have to travel, add the extra 5 minutes and head to Walmart pharmacy, or Mt. Blue Drug.

I waited on a prescription here for 2 1/2 weeks!! Every time I came in, I received a different reason as to why the medication had not been filed. At the 2 1/2 week mark, the pharmacy told me that I should drive back to my home state (5 hours away!!) to fill it, as there was no way he could. Same prescription was filled in 10 minutes at hannafords in Old Town. Think twice friends.

Prices... oh holy smokes, this place is cheaper than Big Pharmacy. I'm not kidding, I have spent a good portion of my day ranting about pharmacy prices put this way. I spent $1.75 on calamine lotion that Big Pharmacy wanted $6.59 for! The staff (a young kid) was great. And when he didn't know, he had the pharmacist come and show me what I was looking for... BUT the pharmacist even when the extra mile of recommending a home remedy since the pharmaceutical way was working for me... This is downtown Orono, college and yuppie central... so parking can be a bit hard, but I lucked out. Very impressed with this place.... as for the home remedy, it's working!

It cost $165 and when I asked the pharmacist if it was OK for the pump, he said yes. When I contacted my endocrinologist, her initial response was no, no, no,! As this is a long acting insulin and does not work in a pump & she rarely uses it. I was out $165 without having my problem resolved. Be very wary of this pharmacy. Fortunately, my endocrinologist was able to call in a prescription to CVS. On my way to get it picked up. At least I will have the right prescription and hopefully not having to pay another hundred plus dollars to get it filled. As a follow up to my post I went the next day and the pharmacist saw the mistake in the insulin. I could not have been more pleased of his understanding & his rectifying of the situation. It reaffirmed my belief in humanity. We are all allowed to make mistakes. The Important things is to be able to acknowledge & rectify the mistake. Maybe I was too hasty in posting my initial response.

Visiting Old Town Hannaford is painful in many ways, all of which imply a negative leadership or…read morecorporate attitude towards customers. Some things that make patronizing this business a poor experience: -Navigating the aisles and accessing food is CHALLENGING due to pallets waiting to be stocked and the stockers blocking the aisles and/or access to products. It is rare for them to notice customers trying to get to products. This is true at peak hours and in high traffic aisles (dairy case). One might surmise that they don't care. -There is no easy way to get help, especially help finding things. There is no customer service desk. Stockers are not helpful beyond saying " I think that might be in aisle 5". The Website is not accurate. -The pharmacy is SLOW. It is not uncommon for you to be ignored at the window while staff chats. The pharmacy also closes mid-afternoon, apparently for lunch. Imagine the implications for some people.... -Check out lines are long, long, long. Checkers are often slow. -When I took the opportunity to tell the store manager about the difficulty I had accessing products because of pallets blocking access he said "That ain't gonna change". No empathy, no apology, nothing.

Pharmacy is terrible in all respects. Unreliable, uninformative, lazy (as in "we don't order…read morerefills" despite being in the Refills Made Simple (RMS) program), terrible user experience on the pharmacy website, auto-filling controlled sleep med without me enrolling it in RMS while not auto-filling drugs I've enrolled numerous time both online and in person, drugs are rarely ready when they're supposed to be and they often wait until you arrive to fill them; RMS caller bot says they will call if there are changes to your meds but they never do (2.5 years in!), caller bot also rarely calls when RMS refills are ready despite saying they will we only get called when we're LATE picking up drugs they never told us were ready... It's been very difficult to get my list of allergies (most of which are ANAPHYLAXIS) right. There's probably more I'm forgetting. Attempts to contact the parent company about issues lead nowhere. We just don't know where else to go. So many local (Old Town/Orono/Bangor/Veazie) pharmacies have really bad reviews.
