One star is too much, but I see that is all this company has received. I have been using this…read morecompany to store my furs for over decade and have referred many friends who have purchased furs. One purchased 4! I started storing 2 furs after my mother in law passed. Every time they invoiced me they invoiced me for my fur and not my mother in laws. I asked for a new invoice to be sent to me with the correct fur listed and the male employee acted like I was asking for the moon and became very annoyed and agitated. To me having an invoice with the correct fur listed was their responsibility and he refused to help me in any way. This is a contract and when I pay I am paying for a particular fur. He didn't get it and refused to take any responsibility. Any connection I had with the company over the last decade is gone. He made deliveries difficult and disrespected women, even the ones that have money and have sent customers there way. This man is not capable of an apology so I will be picking up my fur and will no longer refer friends to William H. Harris Furs.

I dropped a fur coat off on August 23, 2019, to William H Harris Furs, to have it repurposed as a…read morethrow. The fur had been a gift to my mom from one of her friends. We asked for a black liner, which was pretty standard. We have called monthly to get updates on the work, which should have taken about 30 days. Yesterday I was finally informed that the throw was complete, but with a lime green liner (which some other customer had ordered), see picture. I received a call today to tell me that the right liner would be installed after the 1st of the year. I asked to talk to the owner (Val) and he told me clearly that he could not and was not willing to do anything to make the situation better. I recommend that you go anywhere, and to any length to avoid this establishment. They were noncommunicative, took 5 months (so far) to do a 30-day project, and they weren't a bargain. Once they got the money, their incentive to do the right thing evaporated. BTW, the cost to convert a coat to throw is currently $1800.

I found both sizes I was looking for and in new condition. One pair had the green tag which came to 50% off. Eh, this place is okay I guess. I've come in here about 5 times and I really want to like it but I…read morejust can't get passed all the red flags this store has. First and foremost I love coming to this store because they always have stuff on sale, they will have a board with the price sales for the day, which I do enjoy but the excitement stops there, and ends there. Every single time I've entered this store, I was never greeted. And every single employee I have encountered is always huffing and puffing and don't even acknowledge that you are there. They always seem to be annoyed at the donations they have coming in, which if it weren't for the donations they would be out of a job so I'm confused. The place is not very clean but it's okay extremely small so I'm confused, and stuff is always all over the place. It's not the best at all and don't expect to get help because it's not happening. Also for the first time today I donated some clothes a huge bag might I add. Had no idea how the process went, but quickly seen the sign in the back of the building and realized there was no help had to do it on my own. I don't plan on coming back. I've gave it enough tries.
