Please beware of this body shop!! They are extremely dishonest, their work is sub par and the customer service is none existent. I had to take my car back to them four times and they never rectified the situation even after I had pictures and videos and also immediately taking my car to them showing them the work they did was not correctly don. I was met with an awful attitude and a refusal to correct their wrongs. If anyone wants to see for themselves, I have plenty of proof. A guy at my job ran a forklift into the back of my car. The entire back bumper was damaged, my cars color is a special Volkswagen red. Super friendly, super fast, and super easy! My mini cooper was in a hit & run and needed some work done. I went to Harrison's to get an estimate after processing the claim with my insurance. I was concerned about finding a place in South Ga that could get mini parts, but they said it would be no trouble. I was planning on going out of town for a week, so just a week before I left I called to see if they could fix my car while I was gone so I would not have to get a rental. I expected them to say that was too last minute, but in fact they were happy to do it! I went on vacation, they fixed my vehicle in three days and gave me a call letting me know it would be ready to pick up when I got home! Simple as that! And even though my insurance estimate was much lower than theirs, I never had to deal with any of it. They worked it all out. So easy! Recently got my car fixed here . It's a 2015 Honda Civic - this thing is my baby and I would take it here over and over again if anything else were to happen . I hit a deer years ago, and chose Harrison's over someone my insurer recommended. Harrison's was nice and seemed to do a good job, but then my quarter panel began to have pin sized wholes in the paint. I went to them and they immediately took care of it admitting they had some primers problems for a period of time. Then my hood began to do the same, and I showed up to show this to them a week before the one year warranty ran out. They refused to honor the warranty, and said I must have been hit by gravel. They said this even though the problems looked exactly the same as before. The owner broke out crying and ran out the door. The employees kept telling me I was too blame. I assumed they had been put in a Bind from too many problems at once, so I offered to pay the parts cost if they would do the work. I needed my car repaired. To my surprise, They still said No. My insurance representative looked at the problem and immediately agreed it was a primer problem. He talked to them, and they would not admit it was their fault. He was a bit angry, and told me he would get the problem straightened out. He and I went around to all the local suppliers with the car, and told them what happened. We showed Each of them the problem. They all provided the necessary parts, and my insurance representative's normal body shop took care of the rest as a favor to my insurance company. Harrison's now has to advertise because they are not reliable and many people know this, so they no longer have a steady flow business to rely on by word-of-mouth. Use them at your own risk, since if they make a mistake they will not correct that mistake. You will end up holding a mess, and they will refuse to correct it. read more

I took my car to Harrison's and found that they not only fixed the damage from the accident but took care of some minor scratches that happened somewhere else and on a COMPLETELY different part of the car. This is by far the best body shop in Macon. Several months back, my neighbor struck my car. From the moment I contacted this shop, it was evident that the service was superior to other shops I've dealt with in the past. They arranged for towing of the vehicle and coordinated with the insurance company. But above that - the quality of the repair in the time frame which it was completed was simply outstanding! Not only was the repair work beyond my expectations, the detailing work that was completed on the vehicle was just beyond words. When I picked up my car, I could barely recognize it - it looked BRAND NEW! (And that is no exaggeration!) If it is quality repairs, quality service, and great workmanship you seek, then you need look no further than Harrison's Body Shop! I'm writing to inform that I had a VERY TERRIBLE experience at this location. I allowed Harrison's Body Shop to repair my vehicle on a couple of occasions. I WAS satisfied with the work and the customer service until my encounter today with Kim Harrison. Never in my life have I had such an experience. Kim was VERY disrespectful, impolite and out of line, to just name a few. I had an issue with the lower engine cover on my car. Truthfully, a few months ago, a screw came from underneath, which caused the lower engine cover to come down. I tore off the pieces that were hanging off as it was scraping the ground and I didn't think it was a big deal so I didn't worry about it. But this weekend it started to hang again. Harrisons fixed this part on my vehicle as well as my bumper a year ago. However, the guy who did the edtimate pointed out a part on my bumper that shows that something was hit in my car. Nothing I hit caused the damage to my vehicle. But Harrisons denied the warranty. I requested a 2nd opinion and as soon as I did, Kim's response was, "You are the 4th person to come in here and want free shit." She said this even before looking at my car. She then goes out to look at my car and continued to curse at me for no apparent reason, and again advised that Harrisons will not replace it under warranty. I asked her why was she cursing and so upset with me, again she says, "You are the 4th person to come in and want free shit. " I requested that she talk to me as an adult, she refused. She tells me she won't even fix my car, even if I was paying out of pocket. I never said anything about taking it elsewhere, she suggested that I do. I told her that with the 2nd opinion, if her attitude wasn't as like it was, I would've still chose them to fix my car, but the opportunity never presented itself due to her cursing and yelling at me. Kim then goes inside and turn on the PA System and continues to yell to her workers, "She wants free shit!" This whole encounter was very unprofessional. This complaint will not stop here. I feel very disappointed with the low level of customer service I received and hope that this isn't the way business is conducted at any other times here. The language that Kim used was VERY disrespectful and it was not called for. Never in my life have I experienced such POOR customer service. And to think that she is the owner of the company. You can't teach good customer service if you're not practicing it. I gave a 1 star only because I had to choose at least that. They rate to me a -10! read more

I used Harrison's Body Shop to do work on my 2003 Honda Accord about 7 years ago without any issues. The work was completed on time and the quality of work was outstanding. HOWEVER, I didn't get the same results with my most recent visit at Harrison's. I brought my car in to have the front and rear bumpers replaced and painted. Initially, the work was expected to take about 2 days to complete. I came on the 2nd day but there was an issue with the finished work. The paint along the seam on the rear bumper needed to be properly blended. I was offered a loaner while they finished the work on my car. I finally got my car back after 2 more days with the corrections made to the bumper. My insurance only paid a small portion of the total amount so the remainder balance was paid out-of-pocket. This was the main reason why I was so adamant about ensuing that the work was done correctly. But the situation only got worst from here. For some reason, I kept looking at the color of the rear bumper because the color looked a shade darker than the rest of my car. At first, I thought it was just me being overly anal. I was out on a sunny day and I walked up to my car and I could clearly see the difference in color. My car is silver but the bumper looks like a light grey color. I took a few photos and it was evident that the colors didn't match. I took my car back to Harrison's I was told that they could correct the problem but I would have to wait until after Thanksgiving. I took my car back up to Harrison's Body Shop on Monday, Dec. 2 to have to paint issue resolved. I called on Tuesday to get an update on my car because no representative from Harrison's called to tell me when the work would be completed. I was told that one of the painters was out and they were running behind on completing their work orders. I was told to call back on Wednesday. I went up to Harrison's on Wednesday to get a status update. I spoke to a woman and she told me that my car wouldn't be complete until Friday. She proceeded to explain that a painter is out so that's why it's taking so long to repaint the bumper. I asked her why it is taking such a long time for such a simple job. That's when she told me that she didn't know what to do because the paint job looked fine to her. So my car sat there for 2 days without any attempts made to correct the existing paint job. She brought my car out and I explained the difference in the paint color between the rear bumper and the rest of my car. I told her that the front bumper was fine so why is the rear bumper a shade darker. She said that painter mixed from the same batch so the colors match. I even showed her the photos but she wasn't open to try to resolve the problem professionally. She IMMEDIATELY got irate with me. The situation escalated to the point where I had to call the police to come defuse the situation. While I was on the phone with 911 dispatcher explaining that the manager was being irate and rude she replied in the background with "I'm the F*&&^ing owner". She also insinuated that one of representatives at Harrison's and myself must be friends because he was "helping" me too much. I don't have a personal relationship with any employee at Harrison's Body Shop. I was totally offended by the accusation. When the policeman arrived he spoke with me and the owner of Harrison's Body Shop. I was offered a refund for the paint job. So now I have to find another body shop to correct the work at Harrison's. I couldn't believe the quality of work and the level of professionalism has completely diminished at Harrison's. I wouldn't recommend Harrison's Body Shop to my worst enemy. This is absolutely the BEST body shop! My late husband, Dr. A.M. Phillips, Jr. And I have been using this body shop since Mr. John Harrison, and now with his daughter, Kim. We have always received excellent service whether it was one of Al's prized Jaguars or my everyday car! I've had the need to call on Harrison's several times since my husband's passing. Although my financial status has changed, I am treated with the same respect and care. I learned from my husband that I can choose the body shop of my choice, although the INSURANCE company tries to steer me in another direction!
